For disciplined risk control, only one trade is opened at a time, and every position is protected by a fixed Stop Loss. The result is a focused Gold trading system built around controlled exposure, active trade management, and a structured approach to recovery.

* If you set Fixed Lot > 0, the EA will trade with Lot Size = Fixed Lot (if Fixed Lot is a valid lot size).
* If you set Fixed Lot = 0 and Auto Lot > 0, the EA will calculate the Lot Size according to the value of Auto Lot.
* Backtests with Auto Lot show mathematical growth based on account balance. For live trading, Fixed Lot is recommended for better control over position size and risk.
* How D’Alembert Works
D’Alembert gradually increases the position size after a loss and reduces it after a win.
For example, imagine 6 trades with the same $10 profit/loss per 0.01 lot:
Flat lot:
-$5 → +$5 → -$5 → -$5 → +$5 → +$5 = $0
D’Alembert:
-$5 → +$10 → -$5 → -$10 → +$15 → +$10 = +$15
The key advantage is that the position size increases gradually after losses and decreases after wins, rather than using aggressive Martingale multiplication.
D’Alembert changes lot size linearly by fixed addition/subtraction, while Martingale uses multiplication, causing lot size and risk to increase much faster.
Recommend:
Pair: XAUUSD. Time frame: M5 or any timeframe. Use VPS with low latency (<30ms).
Use EA with ECN or Raw spread accounts, spread < 30 points. Min Balance: $ 500
Note:
+ If you use EA with Gold and the price has 3 decimal places (like 3900.123), then you need to increase 10 times (10x) the value of Max Spread, Take Profit, Trailing parameters. For example, set Take Profit = 25000 (instead of the default value = 2500). Because Point calculation is different with 2 decimal places with 10x value.
