What Is a Fair Value Gap?
A Fair Value Gap is a price imbalance created when the market moves rapidly and leaves an inefficiently traded area between candles. These zones are often monitored by Price Action, ICT and Smart Money traders because price may later return to rebalance the imbalance.
Quantora Fair Value Gap Pro identifies these areas automatically and displays them directly on the chart.
Bullish Fair Value Gap
A bullish FVG may represent a potential support or demand area. When price returns to this zone, traders may watch for bullish confirmation, continuation or reversal opportunities.
Bearish Fair Value Gap
A bearish FVG may represent a potential resistance or supply area. When price returns to this zone, traders may watch for bearish confirmation, continuation or rejection opportunities.
Mitigated Fair Value Gap
When price reaches or completely fills an FVG, the zone can be marked as mitigated. The indicator can keep mitigated zones visible or remove them automatically depending on the selected settings.
