ICONIC GOLD AI+ is a MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor developed for automated XAUUSD trading on the M10 timeframe. The system combines structured pending order logic, market context assessment, configurable risk control, and an internal NeuroCore decision module. It was developed for traders who want systematic Gold execution with clearly defined rules, automated trade management, and controlled exposure logic.

XAUUSD is a volatile market. Spread conditions, liquidity, volatility, and directional movements can change rapidly. ICONIC GOLD AI+ was designed to assess the trading environment before exposure is built. The EA can remain inactive if its internal conditions are not met. This behavior is intentional. In automated trading, no trade can also be a system decision. ICONIC GOLD AI+ does not guarantee trading results. Basic Concept

Many automated trading systems rely on fixed entry rules. They wait for a predefined condition, open a trade, and repeat the same behavior in different market environments.

ICONIC GOLD AI+ takes a more structured approach.

Before a setup is placed, the EA assesses multiple layers of information, including market context, account conditions, volatility, spread, session behavior, cooldown status, news filter status, and the current NeuroCore decision mode. The goal is not constant trading activity. The goal is controlled participation under defined conditions. If the internal validation process does not clear the current market state, the EA may skip a setup. This is part of the system design and does not necessarily indicate an error.

Developed for XAUUSD

ICONIC GOLD AI+ was specifically developed for XAUUSD. Gold behaves differently than major Forex pairs, indices, and digital assets. The market can generate rapid directional movements, sudden volatility expansion, and changing spread conditions. For this reason, the EA is tailored to the behavior of XAUUSD and should not be used as a generic multi-symbol robot unless a future version explicitly supports this.

NeuroCore Decision Module

The NeuroCore module is the internal decision layer of ICONIC GOLD AI+. It is not presented as a market forecasting tool. It is used as part of the EA's trade validation, risk control, and execution logic. The module assesses internal state information and helps determine whether a setup should be skipped, reduced, executed normally, or adjusted within configured limits.

The NeuroCore module includes:

• Local storage of internal decision values

The internal feature assessment can include elements related to trend direction, volatility state, session context, drawdown condition, ATR behavior, spread condition, and current system behavior. These values are used as part of the EA's decision-making process. They do not remove market risk and do not guarantee future results.

Five Execution Modes

ICONIC GOLD AI+ can classify its internal decision into five execution modes. These modes are used to control how the EA reacts to current conditions.

• Skip: No new setup is placed. This can happen if the internal validation process does not clear the current market state.
• Defensive: The EA uses reduced execution parameters. This mode is intended for conditions where the system allows participation but applies a more conservative exposure logic.
• Neutral: The EA uses standard execution parameters based on the configured settings.
• Confident: The EA can adjust execution parameters within configured limits when internal conditions are stronger according to the decision module.
• Aggressive: The EA can use higher execution parameters within configured limits if the internal model classifies the setup accordingly.

All execution modes remain limited by user settings, risk configuration, and broker conditions. These modes do not guarantee trading results.

Adaptive Memory

ICONIC GOLD AI+ can store internal decision values locally. After closed trades, the EA can update values used by the NeuroCore module. These values can be saved in the local file specified via the input AI_State_Filename and reloaded after a restart, provided the user does not reset the internal data.

This allows the EA to preserve selected internal values between terminal sessions. The adaptive memory feature was designed to support the internal decision-making process. It does not guarantee improved future performance. Users can reset stored internal values via the available reset input if they wish to start with a clean internal state.

Structured Pending Order Logic

ICONIC GOLD AI+ uses a structured pending order model. Instead of relying exclusively on immediate market execution, the EA can prepare pending stop orders in relevant price areas if the internal filters clear a setup.

Depending on the active configuration, the EA can work with the following elements:

• Current daily high and daily low
• Previous day's high and low
• Support and resistance areas
• Order block-related levels
• ATR-based distance validation
• Trend direction validation
• Spread validation
• Session filtering
• NeuroCore clearance or rejection

Pending orders are not meant to remain in the market unattended. The EA can remove or replace pending orders if certain conditions change.

A pending order can be deleted or updated when:

• The configured update interval is reached
• The trend context changes
• News filter conditions become active
• Spread conditions are unacceptable
• The daily trade limit is reached
• An open position is closed
• The internal validation process no longer supports the setup

This approach is intended to align pending orders with current market conditions instead of leaving outdated orders in the market.

Market Context Assessment

Before a setup is placed, ICONIC GOLD AI+ assesses several market context elements.

The EA can use the following elements:

• EMA-based trend direction
• ATR-based volatility measurement
• Spread filter
• Trading session logic
• Range and distance checks
• Structure level validation
• Daily level analysis
• References to current and previous daily levels
• Optional news filter status
• Cooldown status
• Internal NeuroCore decision state

This context assessment helps the EA decide whether a setup should be placed, adjusted, or skipped. The EA may trade less frequently during unclear, unstable, or low-quality conditions. Low activity can be part of normal behavior.

Risk Control

Risk control is part of the execution process. ICONIC GOLD AI+ includes several configurable features designed to control exposure and trade behavior.

Available risk-related features include:

• Percentage-based lot calculation
• Maximum trades per day
• Maximum spread filter
• Stop Loss settings
• Take Profit settings
• ATR-based Take Profit limitation

• Cooldown after closed trades

These features were designed to guide trading behavior. They do not remove market risk. Users should understand all risk-related inputs before changing them. Higher risk settings can increase drawdown and account volatility.

Drawdown-Sensitive Risk Adjustment:

• ICONIC GOLD AI+ contains a drawdown-sensitive risk adjustment.
• When drawdown conditions change, the EA can adjust exposure via predefined internal calculations and configured risk parameters.
• This feature is intended to reduce execution aggressiveness under selected account conditions.

The drawdown-sensitive logic is no guarantee of capital preservation. It is a risk control component and should be thoroughly tested before live deployment. Users remain responsible for selecting risk settings that match their account size, broker conditions, and personal risk tolerance.

Trade Management

Once a setup is triggered, ICONIC GOLD AI+ can manage the position according to its internal logic and user-defined settings.

Trade management features can include:

Trailing Stop and Break-Even Logic:

• The EA contains configurable trailing stop and break-even features.
• The break-even logic can move the Stop Loss after a defined favorable price movement.
• The trailing logic can adjust the Stop Loss as the price continues to move, depending on the configured parameters.

These features were designed to manage open positions according to predefined rules. They do not guarantee that a trade will close in profit. Users should test trailing and break-even settings carefully, especially on XAUUSD, where volatility and spread can vary significantly.

News Filter

ICONIC GOLD AI+ includes an optional news filter. When enabled and correctly configured in the MetaTrader 5 WebRequest settings, the EA can pause new entries around selected USD news events.

The news filter can use inputs such as:

• Filter for high-impact news
• Filter for medium-impact news
• News update interval

Users should check the WebRequest settings before using this feature on a live account. If WebRequest is not configured correctly, the news filter may not function as intended.
