TradeKeeper Pro manages your open positions so you don't have to watch every tick. It moves the stop to break-even, takes partial profits, trails the stop and gives you a one-click risk panel on the chart. It works on manual trades and on trades opened by other EAs, on any symbol and any MetaTrader 5 broker.
WHAT IT DOES
1. Break-even: when a position is X points (or X R) in profit, the stop moves to entry plus an offset. Done once per position.
2. Three partial take-profits: close a percentage of the original volume at TP1, TP2 and TP3. Each level fires once.
3. Partial stop-loss: close part of a losing position before the full stop is hit.
4. Trailing stop: start, distance and step, in points or R.
5. Points or R-multiples: R is the position's initial stop-loss distance, recorded the first time TradeKeeper sees the position.
6. Risk panel on the chart: type risk %, stop-loss in points and take-profit in R; the panel shows the lot size. BUY and SELL open the trade with stop and target already set.
7. Panel buttons: BE now, Close 1/2, Close all.
8. Status lines: risk per trade in money, active rules, positions managed, last action.
State is saved in terminal global variables, so a restart or a timeframe change does not repeat partial closes or reset the break-even.
WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
It has no strategy and does not open trades on its own. BUY and SELL only trade when you click them.
It only works while MetaTrader 5 is running with TradeKeeper on a chart and Algo Trading enabled.
It cannot guarantee the stop price in a gap or spike; the broker fills at the next available price.
HOW TO INSTALL
1. Attach TradeKeeper to one chart.
2. Enable Algo Trading.
3. Choose which symbols to manage: all, or only the chart symbol.
4. Set the rules (inputs below). Distances are in points or R, depending on Unit.
5. Optional: filter by magic number (-1 = all positions, 0 = manual only, above 0 = one EA).
MAIN INPUTS
Which positions: Symbols (all or chart symbol), Magic filter (-1 all, 0 manual only, >0 one EA).
Distance unit: Points or R (default R); R size in points for trades without a stop-loss (0 = skip them).
Break-even: on/off, trigger (default 1 R), offset (default 5 points).
Partial take-profits: TP1 at 1 R closes 50%, TP2 at 2 R closes 25%, TP3 off by default (percent of original volume).
Partial stop-loss: off by default; trigger 0.5 R closes 50%.
Trailing stop: starts at 1.5 R, 1 R behind price, minimum step 10 points.
Panel: RiskPct (default 1.0), SLPoints (default 300), TPR (default 2.0), panel magic and position.
General: slippage, verbose log.
If a partial close would leave less than the symbol's minimum lot, the whole position is closed instead. Stop moves respect the broker's stops and freeze levels.
STRATEGY TESTER
In the tester, TradeKeeper can open small demo trades (Strategy Tester demo input) so you can watch it manage them. It never does this on a live or demo chart.
Tested on Step Index with real ticks: 88 management actions (TP1 10, TP2 4, break-even 10, trailing 64), 0 failures.
