🧠 How It Works (High Level)

1. Session awareness — the EA only trades inside your chosen trading hours, so it avoids the quiet, spread‑heavy parts of the day.
2. Momentum check — before taking a position it confirms the direction of the prevailing move.
3. Direction filter — a built‑in filter blocks entries that would go against that reading. This is one of the main reasons the system behaves more calmly than a plain grid.
4. Basket management — positions are managed as a group and closed together when the basket reaches its target.
5. Spread protection — entries are skipped when the spread is wider than your allowed maximum.

• 🟩 CLOSE BUY — closes only this EA's buy positions.
• 🟥 CLOSE SELL — closes only this EA's sell positions.
• ⛔ CLOSE ALL — closes all positions opened by this EA.
• 🔁 STOP / START LOT INCREMENT — freezes the start lot at 0.01, or re‑enables equity‑based scaling. Start Lot Size 0.01 Increase per 10,000 Equity Increase.

Safety behaviour: the close buttons are never blocked by pause. Even if the EA is paused, you can always flatten your basket.

🚀 Setup in 60 Seconds

1. Attach SJM SUN Scalper V‑1 to an XAUUSD M3 chart.
2. Allow algo trading (toolbar button + Allow Algo Trading in EA properties).
3. Set your starting lot (leave at 0.01 if unsure).
4. Confirm session hours (default server time).
5. Enable Allow live trading and you're done.
6. Optional: press STOP / START LOT INCREMENT if you want equity‑based start lots.
