SMC AUTO PRO is an advanced indicator for MetaTrader 4 that automates the reading of Smart Money Concepts (SMC), mapping of the valid market structure in real time and highlighting the most relevant points of interest (POIs) — such as Order Blocks (OB) and Fair Value Gaps (FVG) — already ranked by institutional strength.
What it does
The indicator analyzes market flows and builds a dynamic queue of structures based on breaks:
-
BOS (Break of Structure): confirms trend continuation and keeps the previous structure valid.
-
CHoCH (Change of Character): indicates a possible reversal, invalidating the previous structure and creating a new flow.
-
Full engulfing: if a new leg completely engulfs a previous structure, that structure is marked as NO FLOW (no flow), because it has been fully mitigated.
As a result, the indicator displays the last 3 valid structures (Current, Prev, Swing -2), updating only at candle close to avoid repainting and overload.
Key features
-
Automatic Fibonacci on the current leg (with levels 0, 50, 61.8, 78.6 and 100).
-
POC (Point of Control) calculated by volume profile within the premium/discount zone.
-
FVG detection and ranking:
-
Filter by above-average volume.
-
Prioritizes larger gaps and those farther from equilibrium (50%).
-
Bonus for confluence with an Order Block.
-
Displays the top 3 (configurable) with importance numbering.
-
-
Order Block detection and ranking:
-
Considers impulsive move size, relative volume, distance from the 50% level, and whether it is a “Super POI”.
-
Overlap filter: keeps only the strongest OB in each price range.
-
If an FVG overlaps an OB, the OB takes priority.
-
-
Dashboard panel with the status of each structure (BULLISH, BEARISH or NO FLOW), pullback percentage, and count of OBs/FVGs.
-
Clean visuals: macro ZigZag in a subtle gray; POIs with distinct colors for bullish and bearish.
Understanding POI numbering (OB1, OB2, FVG1, FVG2...)
After identifying all Order Blocks and Fair Value Gaps of a structure, the indicator calculates a score for each POI, based on criteria such as volume, displacement size, distance from equilibrium (50%), and confluences.
The POIs are then sorted from strongest to weakest and assigned a numbering that reflects this order:
-
OB1 = strongest Order Block (highest probability of being respected).
-
OB2 = second strongest.
-
OB3 = third strongest (if displayed).
The same applies to FVGs:
-
FVG1 = most important Fair Value Gap.
-
FVG2 = second most important.
-
FVG3 = third most important.
Important notes:
-
The number of POIs displayed is controlled by the InpTopPOIs input (default 3). If there are fewer POIs than the defined value, all will be shown.
-
If two Order Blocks occupy the same price range (overlap > 50%), only the one with the highest score is kept, and the numbering is recalculated considering only the survivors.
-
If an FVG overlaps an OB, the OB has priority — the FVG is discarded and does not appear (even if strong), because institutional confluence at the OB is considered superior.
-
POIs labeled as SUPER POI are Order Blocks that broke structure with a gap and above-average volume, receiving extra score. They appear with numbering (e.g., SUPER POI 1, SUPER POI 2) and are the strongest of all.
Thus, when you see OB1, FVG2, etc., you immediately know which zone to prioritize: the lower the number, the greater the relevance.
Who is it for?

Traders who trade Smart Money Concepts, Price Action, and Supply & Demand.
-
Those looking to automate the identification of liquidity zones and high-probability entry points.
-
Scalpers, day traders, and swing traders who want an objective reading of structure without visual clutter.
