Levelkeeper — Automatic Swing Structure Mapper
Levelkeeper automatically finds, tracks, and retires swing-high/swing-low structure for you — so every line on your chart is always live, relevant, and worth trading.
Stop redrawing horizontal lines every session. Let Levelkeeper keep them for you.
Levelkeeper is a professional market-structure engine for MetaTrader 5 that continuously scans price action, identifies confirmed swing highs and swing lows using a configurable pivot-strength algorithm, and renders them as clean resistance and support lines directly on your chart — updated automatically, bar by bar, with zero manual work.
What sets Levelkeeper apart from a basic zig-zag or fractal indicator is its memory. Every level it draws isn't just a static line — it's a tracked object with its own lifecycle. Levelkeeper watches how price behaves around each level and automatically retires it once it's no longer relevant, using a candle-confirmation counter you control. That means your chart never fills up with stale, already-broken levels cluttering your analysis. What remains on screen is always current, live structure — the levels price actually respects right now.
How it works, in plain terms:
- Detection — Levelkeeper scans confirmed candles on both sides of a potential pivot point (using your chosen Pivot Strength) to validate genuine swing highs and lows, filtering out market noise.
- Tracking — Each detected level is stored and continuously monitored. Levelkeeper counts consecutive confirmed candle closes that push through a level.
- Smart Invalidation — Once price closes beyond a level for your specified number of candles in a row (Candles Before Hide), that level is automatically retired and removed — permanently, not just temporarily hidden. No manual cleanup, ever.
- Decluttering — The built-in Proximity Filter automatically suppresses newer levels that sit too close to an existing active level, so you never get three overlapping lines a few pips apart.
- Alerting — Levelkeeper fires a built-in alert the moment price touches a currently active level, so you can step away from the screen without missing the moment structure gets tested.
- At-a-glance dashboard — A professional, dark-themed live panel sits quietly in the corner of your chart, showing your symbol, pivot strength setting, and a real-time count of active resistance and support levels, so you always know the state of the market structure without hunting through your chart.
Why traders use it:
- Built for SMC / ICT / price-action traders who trade off liquidity, swing structure, and break-of-structure concepts and need those levels drawn accurately and consistently, without subjectivity.
- Saves hours of manual charting — no more scrolling back through history to manually mark swing points on every pair and every timeframe you trade.
- Self-cleaning — because levels retire themselves once invalidated, your chart stays readable on any timeframe, from M1 scalping to Daily swing analysis.
- Fully configurable — independent control over pivot strength, lookback depth, number of lines shown per side, line colors and thickness, extension direction, proximity filtering, and invalidation sensitivity, so you can tune it to your exact trading style.
- Non-repainting — all detection and invalidation logic is processed on confirmed candle closes only, so levels you see and act on don't silently shift after the fact.
- Lightweight and clean — no lag, no chart clutter, no unnecessary noise. Just the structure that matters.
Who this is for: discretionary swing traders, SMC/ICT practitioners, price-action purists, and anyone building a confluence-based strategy around support/resistance who wants an accurate, always-current structure map instead of hand-drawn guesswork.
Inputs you control: Pivot Strength, Max Lookback Bars, Max Lines (per side), Line Thickness, Resistance/Support Colors, Show Labels, Extend Left/Right, Place Line on Body, Proximity Filter (ticks), Candles Before Hide, and a toggleable professional dashboard panel.
Add Levelkeeper to your chart, set your pivot strength, and let it do the structure-mapping while you focus on the trade.
