Substantial Arrows è un indicatore tecnico sviluppato per MetaTrader 5 (MT5), basato su un approccio particolare all'identificazione dei livelli di supporto e resistenza (Support & Resistance).

Invece di affidarsi esclusivamente ai metodi convenzionali di visualizzazione di supporti e resistenze, Substantial Arrows utilizza una propria logica per elaborare e identificare livelli di mercato rilevanti. L'obiettivo è aiutare il trader a individuare più facilmente le aree in cui il prezzo potrebbe reagire o effettuare un retest.

Questo approccio al Support & Resistance è stato sviluppato e testato ripetutamente dall'autore, in particolare su Gold/XAUUSD nel timeframe M15. Nei test effettuati dall'autore, il metodo ha mostrato un'ottima precisione nell'identificazione dei livelli di prezzo rilevanti.

È comunque importante ricordare che nessun livello tecnico, indicatore o segnale può prevedere con certezza i futuri movimenti del mercato.

Più di un semplice indicatore di Support & Resistance

Substantial Arrows integra diversi strumenti di analisi direttamente nello stesso grafico.

Il pannello Market Trend consente di monitorare la direzione del mercato su più timeframe. In questo modo, l'utente può ottenere una visione più ampia del contesto di mercato senza dover passare continuamente da un grafico all'altro.

Anche il colore delle candele cambia automaticamente in base alla relazione tra la Fast MA e la Slow MA configurate dall'utente, fornendo un'ulteriore indicazione visiva delle condizioni attuali sul timeframe utilizzato per il trading.

Ma una delle caratteristiche principali di Substantial Arrows è Main Arrows.

Main Arrows non è stato progettato per generare indiscriminatamente un grande numero di frecce sul grafico.

Una Main Arrow viene visualizzata quando il prezzo effettua un retest che soddisfa le condizioni su uno dei livelli di Support/Resistance mostrati dall'indicatore, tenendo contemporaneamente conto della direzione del timeframe di riferimento del trend e delle condizioni del filtro Moving Average.

La logica può essere riassunta in questo modo:

Support/Resistance → Trend Filter → Retest → Main Arrow

Lo scopo di una Main Arrow non è affermare che il mercato si muoverà necessariamente in una determinata direzione dopo la comparsa della freccia.

L'obiettivo è aiutare il trader a riconoscere più facilmente potenziali aree di retest rilevanti e allineate con la direzione del trend.

Filtro Moving Average personalizzabile

L'utente può configurare autonomamente le medie mobili utilizzate come filtro per Main Arrows.

I parametri modificabili includono:

  • Periodo della Fast MA
  • Periodo della Slow MA
  • Metodo di calcolo della MA
  • Applied Price
  • MA Shift

La configurazione predefinita attuale è:

Fast MA: EMA 34, Close
Slow MA: EMA 90, Close

Questi parametri non sono fissi e possono essere modificati in base al proprio metodo o stile di trading.
