Controlled Grid Trader is a smart grid trading system designed to limit risk and avoid uncontrolled drawdown.
Built for traders who want the benefits of grid trading without the typical account blow-up risk.

⚠️ Important: This is NOT an infinite grid system.
The EA uses strict basket-level stop logic and risk control to prevent uncontrolled losses.
Designed for traders looking for a balance between growth and risk control, without relying on martingale or unlimited averaging.
## ⚙️ How It Works
The EA opens trades based on price action signals and manages positions using a structured grid system with predefined levels.
All positions are managed as a single basket and closed when:
- A profit target is reached
- A predefined loss condition is triggered
This approach allows the expert advisor to recover positions efficiently while maintaining strong control over risk.
This structure helps reduce uncontrolled exposure compared to traditional grid systems.
## 🛡️ Risk Management
This expert advisor includes multiple layers of risk control:
- Basket Take Profit (closes all trades in profit)
- Basket Max Loss (limits loss per basket)
- Basket Level Stop (limits grid expansion)
- Optional drawdown protection
- Maximum lot exposure control
The system is designed to accept controlled losses when needed, instead of letting drawdown grow indefinitely.
Typical maximum loss per basket (based on backtests): ~60 USD (with 0.1 lot)
⚠️ In extreme market conditions (gaps, high volatility), losses may exceed expected levels.
