Identifies 2-bar Harami Cross formations by detecting a large mother candle followed by a Doji cross child whose body fits entirely within the mother's body. Unlike a standard Harami where any small child candle qualifies, the Harami Cross specifically requires the child to be a Doji — a candle with a tiny body and long wicks stretching symmetrically above and below, forming the characteristic plus-sign or cross shape. This cross structure represents maximum market indecision: buyers and sellers are perfectly balanced at the close, signaling that the dominant trend has completely stalled before a potential reversal. Each signal is evaluated by 6 weighted quality factors with Doji quality as the dominant factor.

This indicator detects Harami Cross formations on any symbol and timeframe, draws automated Entry/SL/TP trading levels, and tracks signal performance in real-time. Includes a multi-timeframe scanner monitoring up to 150 symbols across 8 timeframes simultaneously.

How Harami Cross Detection Works

The indicator scans for a 2-candle Doji inside reversal structure:

1. Mother Candle (Bar 1) — A large candle continuing the existing trend. For bullish Harami Cross: a bearish candle with strong downward body. For bearish Harami Cross: a bullish candle with strong upward body. In STANDARD preset, the mother must have at least 0.12x ATR body size and 0.25x ATR total range. In STRICT preset these rise to 0.15x and 0.35x ATR respectively.

2. Child Candle (Bar 2) — A Doji cross that forms entirely inside the mother's body. Two checks confirm genuine Doji shape: (a) the body must be no larger than 25% of the candle's total range (maxDojiBodyRatio), AND (b) the body must be no larger than 0.10x ATR (maxDojiBodyATR). Both thresholds must pass simultaneously. The child's body must also be no larger than 80% of the mother's body, and must fit within the mother's body range with configurable tolerance.

3. Cross Shape Validation — The wick symmetry factor evaluates how balanced the upper and lower wicks are. A perfect cross has equal-length wicks above and below the tiny body. Asymmetric Doji candles (spinning tops with one long wick) score lower on this factor, distinguishing true Harami Cross signals from near-misses.

4. Inside Validation — The child's body must be genuinely contained within the mother's body range (with configurable tolerance of 0.05x ATR in STANDARD, 0.03x ATR in STRICT). This containment combined with the Doji cross shape represents a dramatic shift from decisive trend movement (mother) to complete indecision (Doji child).

Entry is placed as a pending order (Buy Stop / Sell Stop) beyond the pattern extreme plus 0.05x ATR buffer. Stop Loss is set at the opposite pattern extreme plus 0.10x ATR buffer, or via Donchian Channel.

Detection Preset System — Three presets balance signal frequency against Doji strictness:

• STANDARD (default): Relaxed thresholds, ~5% compound pass rate, catches near-Doji candles
• STRICT: Original specification, ~1% pass rate, textbook-perfect Doji crosses only
• CUSTOM: Each of the 6 detection thresholds set individually via [Custom] inputs

6-Factor Quality Scoring evaluates:

• isDoji: validates genuine Doji shape — tiny body relative to range and ATR (weight 0.23, dominant factor)
• motherBodyATR: mother's body significance relative to market volatility (weight 0.18)
• isInsideBar: validates clean containment of child body within mother body (weight 0.18)
• overlapRatio: measures how centered the Doji sits within the mother's body (weight 0.15)
• wickSymmetry: evaluates balance between upper and lower wicks — true cross shape scores highest (weight 0.13)
• directionChanged: confirms the Doji's close direction reversed from the mother (weight 0.13)

Automated Trading Levels

Every detected pattern automatically draws Entry, Stop Loss, and up to 4 Take Profit levels (TP1-TP4) based on configurable Risk:Reward ratios. Price labels display pip distance and R:R ratio for each level.

Stop Loss methods:

• Donchian Channel (structure-based, adapts to market volatility)
• ATR Multiplier (fixed distance based on Average True Range)
• Pattern-specific (detector calculated SL from candle extremes)

Default R:R targets: TP1=1.0R, TP2=2.0R, TP3=3.0R, TP4=4.0R (all customizable, set to 0 to disable any level).

Live Signal Tracking

The indicator tracks each signal from detection through completion:

• Pending: waiting for entry price to be hit
• Active: entry hit, tracking toward TP or SL
• Finished: TP or SL reached

A dotted tracking path shows the actual price movement after each signal. Profit/loss labels appear at hit points. Zone fill rectangles visualize risk and reward areas on the chart.

Donchian Channel Trailing Stop

An optional trailing stop system that automatically adjusts the stop loss as price moves favorably:

• Uses the Donchian Channel (lowest low / highest high over N bars)
• Activates after price reaches a configurable R:R threshold
• Locks at breakeven when TP1 is hit
• Visual color changes: orange (trailing buy), yellow (trailing sell), green (locked at breakeven)

Multi-Timeframe Scanner (150 Symbols x 8 Timeframes)

Monitor patterns across the entire market from a single chart:
