Smoothed Repulse Pro is a momentum oscillator and trend indicator for MetaTrader 5. It measures the buying pressure against the selling pressure behind each candle, smooths the result to reduce market noise, and plots it against adaptive floating levels. The indicator includes a multi-timeframe dashboard and a non-repaint divergence detection engine, so a trader can read momentum, trend direction, and possible reversals from a single sub-window on any forex pair, index, metal, or crypto symbol.

The problem this indicator solves

Most oscillators use fixed overbought and oversold thresholds. A setting that works on one symbol or one timeframe often gives too many false signals on another, which forces constant re-optimization. Standard oscillators also repaint on the current bar, so a signal seen in the tester may never have existed live. And reading momentum on one chart alone gives no information about what the higher timeframes are doing.

Smoothed Repulse Pro is built to address these common problems directly. The adaptive floating levels re-scale automatically to the volatility of each symbol and timeframe, the calculation is non-repaint on closed bars, and the built-in multi-timeframe dashboard shows higher timeframe momentum without opening extra charts.

What it does

The core is a smoothed Repulse oscillator. Instead of comparing price to a static line, it compares recent momentum to its own adaptive range and colors the line by state: bullish when momentum pushes above the upper floating level, bearish when it drops below the lower level, and neutral inside the adaptive zone. Because the levels float with the market, the overbought and oversold reading stays meaningful across M1 to MN and across different instruments.

Multi-timeframe dashboard

An on-chart panel summarizes the current timeframe state and value, and a multi-timeframe table shows the momentum state of up to six timeframes at once with clear color coding. This lets a trader look for timeframe agreement before acting, which is a common way to filter lower quality setups. All timeframes in the table are selectable in the inputs.

Divergence detection

The divergence engine compares price pivots to momentum pivots and marks regular divergence automatically, with an option to also show hidden divergence. Divergence between price and momentum is one of the earlier signs that a move may be losing strength, and having it detected automatically saves manual chart study.

Basic usage

• Read the trend from the line color: bullish above the upper level, bearish below the lower level, neutral inside the zone.
• Use the multi-timeframe table for confirmation, and favor entries where the higher timeframes agree with the signal timeframe.
• Watch the divergence lines: a bullish divergence near the lows or a bearish divergence near the highs is a warning that momentum is fading.
• A color flip back into the opposite zone, or a fresh opposite divergence, is a common exit cue.

Use the indicator together with price action, support and resistance, and sound risk management rather than in isolation.

It also exposes a trend buffer, so an Expert Advisor can read the momentum state through iCustom.
