EnergyReportMarker draws a vertical line at the weekly EIA releases: the crude oil inventory report on Wednesday and the natural gas storage report on Thursday, both at 10:30 New York time. After each release it draws a box with the high and low of the following minutes and the size of the range in points.


Inputs: crude and gas on/off, weeks to draw, minutes used to measure the range, Auto DST or manual release time, colors, labels.


Notes:

- Made for crude oil and natural gas CFDs

- Auto DST assumes a broker server on European time (16:30 server time). With another server time switch it off and enter the time by hand

- The range box needs M1 history. Older weeks without M1 data show only the line

- Holidays can move a release by a day

- It is an information tool, not a trading system: it does not promise any profit


How to use: copy EnergyReportMarker.mq5 into MQL5\Indicators (File - Open Data Folder), compile it in MetaEditor and drag it onto an oil or gas chart. M5 or M15 is a good choice.
