SqueezeMomentum shows when volatility is compressed and in which direction momentum is building. A squeeze happens when the Bollinger Bands are inside the Keltner Channels. The histogram is the linear regression of the distance of price from the middle of the recent range.


What it draws:

- Dots on the zero line: orange when the squeeze is on, gray when it is off

- Histogram: bright green rising above zero, dark green falling above zero, bright red falling below zero, dark red rising below zero


Inputs: period, Bollinger Bands deviation, Keltner Channels ATR multiplier, bars to calculate.


Notes:

- Works on any symbol and timeframe

- Values of closed bars do not change

- It is an information tool, not a trading system: it does not promise any profit


How to use: copy SqueezeMomentum.mq5 into MQL5\Indicators (File - Open Data Folder), compile it in MetaEditor and drag it onto a chart. Watch for the end of a squeeze and the direction of the histogram.
