Manages your open trades: automatic SL/TP, break-even, trailing stop (points or ATR) and partial closes at R multiples. Works with manual trades and other EAs' trades, with an on-chart panel for one-click Buy/Sell, Close All, Close Profit/Loss and Break-even.

Full description

ClearSpec Trade Manager is a utility for MetaTrader 4. It does not look for entries and does not open trades by itself on a live chart. You open trades your usual way (by hand, from the phone app, or with another EA) and the manager handles the exits by the rules you set.

What it does

  • Automatic SL / TP. A trade with no stop-loss or take-profit gets one, at a distance in points or as ATR x multiplier.
  • Break-even. After the profit you set (points), the stop moves to the entry price plus a few locked points to cover costs.
  • Trailing stop. Fixed distance in points or ATR x multiplier, with a start level and a minimum step so the broker is not flooded with changes.
  • Partial closes at R multiples. R is the first stop distance. Example: close 50% at 1R and 50% of the rest at 2R, then move the stop to break-even. Volumes are rounded to the broker's lot step and at least the minimum lot stays open.
  • Filters. Chart symbol only or all symbols; all trades, manual trades only, or one magic number.

Built for real broker conditions

  • Respects the broker's stops level and freeze level and does not send changes that would be rejected or change nothing.
  • Never moves a stop backwards.
  • Works on Forex, metals, indices and CFDs (tick-size aware) and on 4- and 5-digit quotes.
  • No DLLs, no web requests.

Strategy Tester

Buttons cannot be clicked in the tester, so with the input "Strategy Tester demo" on (default), the manager opens small sample trades in the Strategy Tester only. That lets you watch SL/TP, break-even, trailing and partial closes in visual mode. It never does this on a live or demo chart.

Quick start

1. Attach it to a chart and enable AutoTrading.

2. Set your distances in points (on 5-digit Forex, 10 points = 1 pip).

3. Open trades as usual. The panel shows what the manager is handling.

Notes

  • This is a trade-management tool. It does not predict the market and gives no guarantee of profit. Stops can slip on gaps and news.
  • Keep the terminal running (a VPS is recommended) so the rules are applied.
  • Test your settings on a demo account first.
