Lusida Prop Firm Challenge EA

LUSIDA is a MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor built for prop firm challenge, funded and personal-account use. It trades EURUSD, XAUUSD and USDJPY from one chart while tracking the active account rules. Challenge mode works toward the target, Funded mode lowers position risk, and Personal account mode runs the same trading engine without prop firm targets.

The user remains in control: LUSIDA sends no order until START is pressed, and reaching a target does not automatically declare an account approved. It stops and waits for confirmation from the user.

Historical Strategy Tester results, not live trading results. The published challenge record uses FTMO 1-Step rules on FTMO Global Markets data from August 2018 to July 2026. Results include spread, 7 USD round-turn commission per lot and slippage.

AT A GLANCE

LUSIDA passed 34 challenges and lost 18 in the measured period. All 18 losses came from the total loss limit, not the daily loss limit. No strategy can guarantee that a challenge will pass; the losing attempts are part of the record and are included below.

CHALLENGE RESULTS BY YEAR

The four losses shown in 2021 were spread across the year; they were not a four-loss sequence. The worst measured sequence remained two losses. The annual table is included to show both strong and weak periods rather than only the total pass rate.

TIME AND ATTEMPTS

The median pass took 34 market days and the fastest took 11. Four of the 34 passes required more than three months. Among challenges still open after day 60, the measured pass rate was 44%. LUSIDA does not raise its configured risk to finish a slow challenge faster.

THREE OPERATING MODES

Already funded? Set Start in phase to Funded. The underlying trading engine and signals remain the same; the phase changes position sizing and the applicable protection rules.

FUNDED MODE RECORD

The comparison explains why Funded mode uses lower risk. The balance above compounds without withdrawals; taking payouts changes the balance path. Payout approval remains the prop firm's decision and cannot be controlled by an EA.

PERSONAL ACCOUNT RECORD

Personal account mode removes the prop target and firm-rule layer while retaining the same trading engine. Optional personal daily and maximum loss stops can be enabled by the user.

The 22.4% drawdown is the central risk figure for this mode. The 42.2% win rate also matters: historically, the engine lost more trades than it won and depended on the average winner being larger than the average loser.

RULE TRACKING AND SAFETY

The tested FTMO 1-Step profile uses a 10% target, 3% maximum daily loss, 10% end-of-day trailing maximum loss and the Best Day Rule. LUSIDA tracks the daily and total loss limits, the consistency or best-day condition, minimum trading days where applicable and inactivity.

TARGET REACHED is displayed only after the required closed balance is reached, all positions are closed and any configured minimum-day or consistency conditions are satisfied. LUSIDA then stops and waits for the user to confirm the firm's decision.

Every trade carries a stop. The EA uses no martingale, grid or adding to losing positions, and it does not hold positions overnight. The total open-risk cap includes the measured risk of all LUSIDA positions. A trade that does not fit the active cap is reduced or skipped.

The news filter uses MetaTrader 5's built-in economic calendar. With the default configuration it blocks new positions around high-impact events during the Funded phase. It requires no external file or DLL.

Firm profiles are starting configurations, not a substitute for the firm's current agreement. Rules and automated-trading policies can change. Use Other Firm for an unlisted configuration and verify every current rule before purchasing or connecting a challenge account.

PANEL AND SETUP

The English and Turkish panel shows distance to target, daily and total loss buffers, equity curve, best-day ratio, open positions, recent trades and an estimated finish date based on realized pace. An eight-page guide is built into the panel.

Attach LUSIDA to one chart, select the firm and starting phase, and press START. It manages all three markets from that chart. Symbol names are resolved automatically, including common broker prefixes and suffixes, and exact names can also be entered manually.

A single-instance lock prevents duplicate ordering from a second copy. State is stored continuously so the current trading day and challenge state can be rebuilt after a terminal restart.

HOW TO REPRODUCE THE PUBLISHED CHALLENGE TEST

A different broker or prop firm supplies a different price feed, session structure and symbol specification, so its figures will naturally differ from this reference. The M1 chart period and real-tick modelling setting are separate requirements; both must be selected as shown.

LIMITED LICENSE PRICING

LUSIDA is limited to 100 permanent licenses. The permanent-license price increases as sales reach the next tier, and the product is withdrawn from sale when 100 licenses have been sold.

The price displayed by MQL5 at the time of purchase is the applicable price. One permanent license includes Challenge, Funded and Personal account modes together with future product updates and no recurring subscription fee.
