EMA Multi Timeframe Trend EA trades pullbacks in the direction of a higher-timeframe trend on MetaTrader 5.
THREE-TIMEFRAME METHOD (non-repainting, acts on closed bars)
Trend on H1: trades longs only when EMA20 is above EMA50 is above EMA200 and price is above EMA200, and shorts only when the alignment is reversed.
Confirmation on M15: the same EMA alignment must agree with H1, or no trade is taken.
Entry on M5: price must pull back and touch the 20 EMA, then a confirmation candle must close in the trend direction.
TRADE MANAGEMENT
Stop Loss at the recent swing low for longs or swing high for shorts.
Take Profit at a configurable reward-to-risk, default 1 to 2.
Optional trailing stop.
One position at a time, and a maximum number of losing trades per day, default three, then it stands down.
RISK AND FILTERS
Percent-risk position sizing, 0.25, 0.5, 1 or 2 percent, computed from the Stop Loss distance.
Spread filter and London and New York session windows.
Push notification to your phone on every trade.
USAGE
Attach to an M5 chart of your symbol, enable AutoTrading, and choose your risk level and sessions. Please test on demo and in the Strategy Tester first. Backtest results do not guarantee future performance, so size risk conservatively.
