ZiKenV2 is a fully automated session-based Opening Range Breakout (ORB) Expert Advisor designed to trade major market sessions with a strong focus on risk control, consistency, and capital protection. ZiKenV2 is designed to prioritize capital preservation over trade frequency and remains inactive during unfavorable market conditions
The EA identifies the opening range of predefined trading sessions and executes trades only after a confirmed breakout, supported by multiple optional filters to avoid low-quality market conditions.

Entry Logic, Timing & Trade Validity
ZiKen does not place random or time-agnostic trades.
All entries are strictly derived from the EA’s core price-action logic, which is based on wick retests of predefined liquidity levels formed by the first three 5-minute candles of the session.
If a trade is executed later than the initial session opening time, it is not a new or arbitrary signal.
It is a delayed but valid retest of an already-identified wick level that remains aligned with ZiKen’s original setup conditions.
In other words:
- The decision level is defined early
- The execution waits for price confirmation
- No trades are triggered without price revisiting a valid wick level
This design ensures that every trade remains fully consistent with ZiKen’s logic, even if the retest occurs later within an enabled session.
Time Configuration Notice:
This EA uses GMT-based session timing to ensure consistent behavior across all brokers and during Strategy Tester verification.
Session hours must be configured in GMT, not broker server time or local time. The Broker that I see it fits the most is "Exness"

Backtest and Validation
Backtest performed on historical data from 2019 to 2023 using real ticks and default preset.
Out-of-sample validation performed on 2024 to 2026 using the same settings without optimization.
Equity curves demonstrate consistent strategy behavior across different market conditions.
Additional robustness tests confirm stable performance across different parameter variations.

- Why profit is small? - ZiKenV2 intentionally limits exposure and trade frequency. The goal is controlled participation, not constant market presence. Users can increase their lot size but by their own risk.
- Why it has different result in other FX pairs? - ZikenV2 is solely created for trading "GOLD ONLY". Users can use it in any instruments, but by their own risk.
- Why is it trading so few? - ZiKenV2 intentionally created for a long term run, by protecting the user's capital and not gambling.
- Is ZikenV2 a grid, martingale, or recovery EA? - No, ZiKenV2 does not use grid, martingale, recovery system, or any form of position averaging. Each trade is independent, and Strictly risk-controlled.
- How many trades ZiKenV2 can take per day? - ZiKenV2 is intentionally selective. It trades only during predefined market sessions and enforces strict daily and session-based limits. Some days it mat take no trades at all.
- can ZiKenV2 trade multiple position at the same time? - No, ZikenV2 allows only "ONE" active position at a time prevent to prevent overexposure and overlapping risk.
- Does ZiKenV2 require parameter optimization? - No optimization is required. The EA is designed to work with its default preset. Overoptimization is discouraged as it can reduced robustness in live trade. If users still do it "DO IT IN YOUR OWN RISK"
- What Timeframe should I use? - ZiKenV2 is recommended for the M5 Timeframe. Using other Timeframe may changes its behavior and is not advised.
- Is ZiKenV2 is suitable for beginner? - ZiKenV2 is best suited for traders who understand risk and are comfortable with slow, controlled growth. It is not designed for aggressive or high-frequency trading.
- Can ZiKenV2 can handle high volatility or news events? - ZiKenV2 includes optional volatility and trend filters to reduce exposure during unstable market conditions. However, no EA can fully eliminate risk during major news events, that's why a golden rules is "Always put a Stop Loss"
- Does ZiKenV2 work on both netting and hedging accounts? - Yes. ZiKenV2 is compatible with both netting and hedging account types.
- Is a VPS required? A VPS is not mandatory but strongly recommended to ensure stable execution during active trading sessions.
- Will future updates change the strategy logic? -core strategy behavior will remain consistent. Updates focus on stability, safety, and minor improvements, rather than altering the fundamental trading logic.
- Is ZiKenV2 a "set and forget" EA? - ZiKenV2 is designed for minimal intervention, but users are still responsible for monitoring account risk and broker conditions.
- Why is the price increasing over time? - The price is adjusted based on demand, performance history, and ongoing maintenance. Early users benefit from lower pricing.
- Is there an aggressive version planned? - Yes. A high-risk version is planned for traders who accept larger drawdowns. It will be released separately and clearly labeled.
