What to consider when choosing a signal

Yes, that is something to consider.

Vladimir Karputov:

Yes, that's something to consider.

That was a question to you about what to consider when choosing a signal

falterru:

I've already answered - it's exactly what you need to consider.

Or put punctuation marks correctly - at the moment it is not clear whether you are asking a question or just stating facts.

Hi all. such question: I had a subscription connected and it ends in a couple of days, there drawdown is about 30% and if I reconnect to another subscription I will not close these drawdown deals? how will this transition from subscription to subscription look like?

Nivelsky:

Hi all. I have a subscription and it expires in a couple of days, it has a drawdown of about 30% and if I switch to another subscription, will I not close these drawdown trades? How will such a switch from subscription to subscription look like?

When your subscription expires and you have not renewed it at the moment of expiry - you will stop receiving signals, and open positions will remain hanging in the terminal.

At a new subscription synchronisation will take place, but these hanging positions will be considered as manually opened positions and further on according to the SIGNALs.

...

  • Synchronise positions without confirmation - automatic synchronisation without confirmation requests. When subscribing to a signal, the trading state of the subscriber's and provider's accounts is synchronised. This can be an initial synchronization during subscription activation or repeated synchronization during copying.
If during synchronization pending orders or positions opened not according to the signal (for example, manually or by an Expert Advisor) are detected on the subscriber's account, the user will be shown a dialogue suggesting to close positions and delete orders. If there is a floating (unfixed) profit on the provider's account during the initial synchronization, the user will be shown a dialogue suggesting to wait for better conditions to start copying. In both cases, until the user makes a decision by pressing the corresponding button in the dialogue, synchronization does not take place and copying of signals is suspended.
If the platform operation is not constantly controlled (for example, the platform runs on VPS), requests for manual confirmation for synchronization will remain unanswered and can thus suspend copying of signals. If this option is enabled, synchronisation will always take place automatically without the need for confirmation from the subscriber ...

if one wants to copy the signals in automatic of a trader who is on avatrade, can one do it while being at another broker?

ravenz:

Yes you can, but you need to becareful of the slippage problems (slippage is the difference in price between brokers).

Check the slippage tab of the signal you want to copy and if your broker is on the green values or the upper yellow, then you should be fine.

If your broker is within the lower yellow or red values, then you should avoid it.

There is a case when slippage doesn't matter a lot and this is if the signal provider trades rarely or the holding time of positions is quite long (longer term trading).

If the signal uses a scalping short term strategy, then slippage is very important.

Hello, I have a number of questions before subscribing to copy signals:
1. What do you need for proofreading? Is a VPS required?
2. In the screenshot is there a choice on %% of deposit load? How to set the %% correctly? For example, my deposit is 400$ and the deposit of the copyeditor is 1000$?
3. If for example I need to switch the subscription to another trading account, for example, when changing the broker, can I do it? Or do I have to pay for the subscription again?

**

For uninterrupted subscription it is very desirable to rent virtual hosting built into the terminal.

Deposit load is how many per cent (maximum) you allow to load your deposit.

You can see an example of calculation in the article Principle of Operation and Advantages of MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 Trading Signals.

I also recommend you to run the Calculator for signals MT5 utility and by changing the parameters visually track how the copying ratio will change.

Pay again.

When copying signals for some reason I did not see full synchronisation. At the very beginning when I started copying 5 positions were open (me and the supplier). During the night the supplier closed 3 positions, but I did not close them at the same time, I had to close them manually. Why was there no synchronisation? I have ticked all the boxes in the signal tab several times in the settings.
