What does that have to do with it? He's trying to close the order, not modify it.
I have the same error when using the standard library. Tried updating the quotes, all rubbish. It always passed the test before. I test everything perfectly and never get this error.
I don't know what to do.

"Modificationfailed due to order or position being close to market" ="Modification failed dueto order or position being close to market".
Where did you see "trying to close the order"? The word "close" confuses you? In this context it means close position.

Hi all,
I 've been trying to upload an update to my EA for last 2 days with AutoValidator rejecting it with "no trading operations".
The same code for MT5 is uploaded successfully without any errors.
I've gone through a lot of forum posts and the post for "Pre-Checks before publishing" and I can confirm, I 've all the checks in place (same code for MT5, which passed already).
It's a Grid EA and it opens trades in both directions as soon as it is launched, still the error by AutoValidation is "no trading operations".
Is there anyway to contact moderators to find out the real problem?

How does renting an EA work?
When the client rents an EA, is it for just one account or for one computer and several accounts on the same computer?
It's been a long time since you asked, so you've probably already had an answer, but it doesn't hurt to reply in case you don't have the solution yet.
Renting works in exactly the same way as buying/selling. Licences are per computer, with no account or broker restrictions.
The only difference between renting and selling is that selling is for life, while renting is for a set period.
Currently the minimum number of licences allowed is 5, so the client can install on up to 5 computers or vps and use freely on any account or broker.

Have you ever tested an EA on a real account?
As I understand it, the restriction is for 3 computers, not per account.
If you have, could you tell me if that's the case, or if it's also restricted by account?

So, from what I understand, within the EA itself you can or perhaps should programme some restrictions on use, such as checking the account and expiry date.

Daniel, no restrictions of any kind can be added to the EA. Expiry dates are set by MQL5 itself, for the duration of the lease. See previous replies to colleagues who posted before you.

You should have solved it by now, but you were probably inserting the mq5 file and not the ex5.

I believe that the EA is tested with multiple symbols.
You should make sure that your EA will operate correctly on all symbols and with all brokers.
Different brokers may use different lot sizes/minimum/step. It is up to you to code the EA so that the lot size is always correct for the broker.
1. The order of screenshots in the terminal does not correspond to the order on the site.
2. After updating the description on the site, the description in the terminal was not updated. I deleted the file mql5.market.en.dat, it didn't help. Perhaps it takes time, I write immediately on hot. Clarify.
