Discussion of article "How to Post a Product in the Market" - page 42

Edgar Akhmadeev:

1. The order of screenshots in the terminal does not correspond to the order on the site.

2. After updating the description on the site, the description in the terminal was not updated. I deleted the file mql5.market.en.dat, it didn't help. Perhaps it takes time, I write immediately on hot. Clarify.

After half a day I checked - the description was updated. But only after deleting mql5.market.en.dat and restarting. It takes a long time and manually updates in the terminal, although on the site - instantly. Even checking the product and publishing - instantly.

Well, to hell with it. Yes and reproducibility is hard to show.

But the order of screenshots is important.

When installing a library from the market, it is copied not to the "Libraries" folder, but to "Scripts/Market". The #import operator "name.ex5" does not search for the library in this path. I had to write #import "../Scripts/Market/name.ex5".

I didn't understand it until I installed the library from the market myself. Before that I worked with a local copy in "Libraries". It turns out that people download the library in the market and it doesn't work.

Was it written somewhere about it? I haven't seen it. Or I do not understand something?

I wrote that in the terminal the order of screenshots does not correspond to the order on the site. The developers have not responded. They don't even care about the problems of the market?

So it is. Throws in the scripts. Wrote about it.

Vladislav Andruschenko:

Yes, it is. It throws it into the scripts. I' ve written about it before .

I meant it's not officially written. And every seller steps on the same rake.

If loading not in the folder "Libraries", but in "Scripts/Market" is justified, then at least the search for the lib would take place there. And there would be no rake.

And the complete ignorance from the developers' side is very upsetting. In my memory, they have never responded to me almost ever.

If there was some discussion where you wrote, please give me a link.

Can something be done about the order of screenshots? So far there are two screenshots from one mobile programme, in a logical order. And when 2 more programmes are added, it will be a mess.

On the site you can change places, but in the terminal they are arranged as God wills.

Write a request to Service Desk. If you don't have a request with screenshots, there is no response.

Since Market products are loaded into the terminal, and there is no Libraries folder in the Terminal Navigator, the library is loaded into Scripts so that the buyer can find the purchased product directly in the terminal.

The one who buys a library should have a good idea how to use it and where it should be located. And the author himself should clearly write in the description how to use his product - where to put it, how to call it and so on.

Rashid Umarov:

Write a request to servicedesk. No request with screenshots - no response.

You write to Service Desk when the problem concerns me personally. And this is a common problem. Besides, it seems that service desk only responds to financial issues. It has long been made clear, with all problems - in the forum. If they want, they will answer.

Rashid Umarov:

No request with screenshots - no response.

I have noticed.

The author in the description should...

But developers in the documentation should not. I have posted the product for the first time. I have the library in a usual place and it was picked up during debugging and checks. Until I began to suspect something wrong and uploaded my own product.

Now I know, and I have fixed the solution. But the problem is obvious - the library is not searched in the folder. Copying manually is easy, but not normal.

Customers are not as knowledgeable as you imagine. They download a free library, it doesn't work. For some reason, they walk away silently. And they will never buy the paid version.

Actually, it would be correct for MQ to have a folder of libraries in the Terminal Navigator.

By the way, in MT5 there is no Market folder in Scripts in the Navigator. Although it is present with the library loaded from the Market.

But in MT4 it is present.

Can someone please help me?

I couldn't find an answer/solution anywhere.
