Withdrawal to bank cards : anyone with useful experience ? - page 4

I'm a USA resident. At the beginning of February I went through the process of signing up with Skrill. They don't let you get a virtual card until you deposit funds. I've never liked the Plaid service that Skrill and other services utilize for establishing bank links, but this time it managed to work. However, my bank still flagged me and restricted my account when I set up a simple $20 transfer to Skrill. Once I cleared that up, the transfer finally succeeded and I requested a virtual card. I attempted to do a Visa/MC transfer to this virtual card and I got the same stupid "Declined by issuing bank" message.

Very disappointed right now. I exclusively collect revenue from a stable of 14-16 agents that run 24/7 but I'd really like to access my earnings sooner than later, as I will be owing 2024 taxes. It's going to be a while before I get near the $3k milestone for a bank wire transfer.And, what then, if the wire transfer doesn't work?!

I've attempted Visa/MC withdrawals on every single bank-issued and brokerage-issued debit card I have (8 overall) and the result was the same: "Declined by issuing bank". 

Pretty please, with sugar on top: may we have a crypto withdrawal option?!? This would save a lot of grief.

 

Additionally, I attempted to go down the rabbit hole of unlimit. They offer a so-called "freelance account" but their site forces you to attempt this process via Android/IOS App, so I tried to sign up. I can select the "Freelance" option but on the next step, "Verify Identity", the app just seems to spin a circle once, and then then do nothing else, when I tap "Get Started". It's almost as though it's disqualifying me based on location or some other nonsense.

If I try the "Business Account" option, the app presents me with some fields, but this is not applicable to me.

 

It so Sad, I have the same problem in South Africa.

We are also not on the coverage list , so this might be why card withdrawals are failing for me too. 

I wonder how many people are affected by this paypal decision .

just an update. I was able to withdraw to my card successfully.

So it started to fail then it worked ? Can you give more details about it please ? What was the reason to fail and what you did for it to work ?

I had to create a new bank account with Discovery and created a virtual usd card and tried again. The bank used previously seemed to be the issue. The withdrawal went through successfully, just waiting for it to clear.

Thank you for this information.  Can you state which Discovery card?  Do you have the website name that you can post here with spaces between the periods?  like www. websitename. com.  So that it doesn't get blocked.  We appreciate this information, thank you.

Discovery is a South African medical insurance company that also offers banking services. where are you from ? 

I downloaded the discovery bank app on the android play store , then signed up for a transactional account. was almost immediately called by discovery and they helped me over the phone to setup the USD account .

waited for my address to be verified and new card to be delivered.  Then on the app I created a new vritual USD card . I used that card and it seemed to work. 

I have been with discovery for years , but only for medical, never new they also provide financial services .

oh ok, thank you for information.  I'm from USA, it probably wouldn't work since they asked to verify your address. The banking cartel doesn't make things easy. The only way around this is crypto. Even lesser known cryptos like RTM would do the job fantastically.  Transfer funds in 1 minute worldwide for free then convert it to the currency of our respective countries in an online exchange. This site could even take advantage of the situation and release their own crypto coin for payments to customers. We would take payments in the MQL5coin then convert it in an exchange in our own country or even invest in their coin. Would be an additional revenue stream for this site.
