Yousufkhodja Sultonov:

There is no need to interfere with the procreation process. Isaac Newton was the ninth child in the family.

Why is it that driving a car requires a licence, working as a lawyer or accountant requires a degree, but creating a new life requires nothing, is that a less responsible thing to do?

Genetic therapies, cell and genetic engineering, CRISPR/Cas9 etc. need to be developed.

It is 2021, and humans are inbreeding like animals with a random bioweb.

This research should be stimulated and encouraged as much as possible.

Transhumanism is waiting for us.

The same question about voting in elections. Why are serious subject matter experts involved in solving complex issues and why doesn't it occur to anyone that the opinions of the Chief Designer and the unskilled laborer should be heard on an equal footing? It is clear that they have absolutely different competences and it is necessary to listen to the one who is competent. But when people go to vote, for some reason, the opinion of any idiot is equal to the opinion of a doctor of science. Is it reasonable, is it effective? It would be correct to carry out some certification by the results of which the vote of one clever person would weigh as 10, 100 or 1000 voices of not clever people.

Evgeniy Chumakov:

Because your opinion is... ...is huge. It's all been chosen before you.

Where is it? Are there no transparent, competitive elections anywhere in the world? I don't think so. In any case, election fairness is another topic altogether.

John Mill wrote about this as far back as Considerations on Representative Government, that more competent citizens should have more votes/plural voting or more vote weight (he later corrected his opinion), obviously the introduction of such a system would probably require the introduction of special rankings/tests to see who is more competent.

Savelyev is undoubtedly an expert, but he shouldn't get involved in politics, it's clearly not his thing.

I was amused by the statement that Forbes magazine is supposedly a magazine for the rich...

Of course not, Forbes magazine is for the poor who are interested in the lives of the rich, that would be the right way to put it.

The boomerang of doom will not be long in coming, but, it will be too late! Such "research" must be banned by law. Those who instigate such interference in the holy of holies of nature should be burned at the stake, as they should have done with the HIV-infected in their time. The days of mankind are numbered. No one is sounding the alarm properly. I think it is already too late.

It should be like ancient Athens. The choice is not by voting, but by a random lot (the will of the gods). There should also be the institution of ostracism, where any deserving figure could be sent into exile if he or she was just a nuisance).

Interesting, I will read it. Clearly the idea must be a hundred years old, too on the surface. All the more strange that it has not been developed, apparently there are some unobvious disadvantages of this approach. At first glance we can assume unpopularity because of the broad masses, who will be offended (albeit fairly) defeated in the voting rights due to low intelligence and morality. Adjusted to where?

Has there already been a precedent of procreation for the sake of the maternity capital?

In the long term, it seems we need a license to create children as in Cyberpunk.

With the requirement of capital adequacy, and if you do not meet it, then there is no need to breed poverty.

This is necessary even for humane reasons, so that children do not suffer in the poorest segments of society.

It is still a very irresponsible state of society.

Вроде были уже прецеденты что ради маткапитала начинали размножаться?

This is a strange question. Maternity capital was created in order to increase the birth rate.

Why didn't you write that the poor should be chemically castrated, that fits your doctrine?

For simple reproduction an average family should have about 2.5 children. This is far from the case in Russia among the Slavs. If incentives are not created, the Slavic population will gradually die out. The country will gradually become Muslim.

You are arguing for birth control in poor families and aren't you afraid that the factories will be short of workers? Children from rich families won't go to work there.
