Strategies that work - page 24

Petros Shatakhtsyan:

A trailing stop is also necessary, but you still need to determine when to connect it and when to close it.

All known strategies and indicators, if applied one to one, are not profitable or stable.

Each strategy is profitable only when they use "insignificant" numerous little things. And these tricks are small, just a few lines, or additional logical comparisons in the if construction.

Each, of these little things, in turn increases profitability.

You have 4 signals in your profile, on 3 of them the drawdown is more profitable, on the 4th one it is closer to 90%. Where are these little things in practice?

The forex we are offered is hard to make money on as you are charged a spread, commission and swap and given leverage. It's like a casino, red and black, but there are zeros (and zero zeros).

The strategy that works is that you are the bank, i.e. you offer the currency at a higher price and sell it at a lower price. The spread is your earnings.

A working strategy is something like this:

By the way, on ter-ver, with low (quite close to the spread) Tp Sl, casino is less risky than forex.

Why am I a bank? There are no bankers on this forum, there are programmers and traders).

Don't say illiterate things.

And no one has asked you to comment on anyone else's signals either. It is not nice.

P.S.

About the 4th signal, it's a bonus account on MT4 and manual trading only. I don't have a robot on mt4.

It was just a bet, three times in a row to get more than 100% profit in a month. The bet was won and the whole amount was withdrawn from there.

A working strategy is if you are the bank. If you are not a bank then you are a losing strategy )

Serqey Nikitin:

A miserable understanding of the subject...

Risk control is MM (money management) and is essentially pure arithmetic...

Strategy is an idea in the first place..., i.e. the solution of a problem of profitable trading at the level of invention...

MM is a MUST part of any strategy, but not every strategy is profitable...

Actually, "the secret of a good strategy is to spend 90% of your time controlling your risks, not your imaginary profits." These are the words of Paul Tudor Jones in the 1987 film Trader. I think the man whose current fortune is 4.2 billion dollars, and he earned this money thanks to trading, is unlikely to have a poor understanding of the subject.

Vladimir Baskakov:
I don't know what's floating there, read the definition of a trawl

I don't have anything standard, everything is organised programmatically, including trailing stop.

It works differently for me: a floating percentage in relation to profit.

Wow, what's the result?
