joo:
... Probably drank baking soda diluted in water before the experiment.
What nonsense!!! :-))) Look again - you can see clearly that all the wheels of mentos dude holds in his mouth under (- behind) his lower lip + foam cola from the mouth - if there is anything inside and got to him it is miserable, as in fairy tales: ... honey - he drank beer, it ran down his ears but did not get into his mouth ... :-)))

Watch till the end of the video. There was an experiment when he swallowed everything.

joo: Neutralisation of carbon dioxide by an alkaline environment in the mouth is unlikely due to the rapid flow of cola into the stomach (drank quickly and heavily).

You meant to say 'acidic', perhaps?

Baking soda is NaHCO3, i.e. a slightly acidic salt. But it clearly neutralises the hydrochloric acid in the stomach.

Mathemat:

You mean "acidic", don't you?

Nah, an alkali. Neutralises both hydrochloric acid in the stomach and carbon dioxide in the cola:

Sodium hydrogen carbonate reacts with acids to form a salt and carbonic acid, which immediately breaks down into carbon dioxide and water:

NaHCO 3 + HCl → NaCl + H 2 CO 3 H 2 CO 3 → H 2 O + CO 2 ↑

In the home, this reaction is more common with acetic acid, to form sodium acetate:

NaHCO 3 + CH 3 COOH → CH 3 COONa + H 2 O + CO 2 ↑

ZS. Although, more carbon dioxide should be released. Hmm, fuck that man knows then... :)

charter:

"The future has begun."

Interesting...

First truth, then complete nonsense, then science, then retellings of films about the future, then nonsense again, but the end made you think.

"One currency, one language"... Chinese? :)) That's how many nations would have to be eradicated for All to unite and then also to disintegrate (and the old game called Syndicate began)...

There will be one currency, no Forex... :(( We will have to switch to futures.

MaxZ:

There will be one currency, there will be no Forex... :(( We will have to switch to futures.

There will only be one futures too. At a fixed price.

MetaDriver:

there's a tricky thing about the structure of the peppermint itself. It has a surface like a golf ball. on such a surface, bubbles are born in much greater numbers. They did that on "mythbusters."

You can choke on a pill like that. It's a good way to choke on a pill.
