What kind of futures are you looking at - non-deliverable or deliverable ?

What is the logic behind the connection between the futures and the spot?

If it is a non-deliverable, how does it influence the spot - there is no direct effect, only correlations?

if it was a delivery-deliverable, it would be clear - if supplier has to buy spot when price approaches delivery price - so if price breaks through it, it may give support/resistance line ...

but most likely there are very few deliveries ...
