"EDIT" function??? In my post, "EDIT:" simply means that I edited my original post and added some extra information, and in that post, I simply pointed out the location of the folder in question.

 
After my first sale on here, Ranking went from like #13800 to #800, sales is what gets the rankings, other things are less important.

That is true, sales are very important, but product price, demo downloads and proper descriptions in all available languages are very important too.

Hello everyone, I noticed that whenever I post a new product, one or two sales always happen. However, after 1 month, the ranking starts to drop. You can change the description, follow their instructions, but nothing happens. The solution is to be patient and wait for someone to like the demonstration and make a final purchase. To some extent, yes but...

I once posted a product that had a quickly thrown together description that looked like "who-did-it-and-ran." At that time, it was ranked worse than 10,000. Following a total rewrite of the description, adding another feature, and then one more customer download, it now ranks around 300.

Therefore if you wrote a "who-did-it-and-ran," rewriting the description definitely helps.

 

Is there a 24 hour limit on the rating change ?

I've got 2 mt5 indicators , one has no sales (more than 24h) and it's rating is higher than the one with sales (<24h).

I wouldn't make too much fuss over product rating, as long as I'm using descriptive product names based each products' underlying logic, respectively. After adding my LLC to my personal mql5 account, my product ratings started anew and changed from 300 and up to 11,000 and up. Even so, my descriptive product names still come up in relevant browser and mql5 searches so whatever.
 
I’ve tried everything, but I still can’t fix the bad description. Could you please tell me what I’m doing wrong?

  • I have also translated it into all the other languages.
  • I’ve also developed the MT4 version and uploaded it with the same descriptions, and it hasn’t received any positive or negative feedback in four days.
