Well I have no drawdown as yet - the closed out positions are keeping any open losses in check..which I guess is how you aim to trade..

Thanks for the update on your plans globis which sound very exciting.

You are probably aware that many on this forum and others have seen so many signal providers/managed account services start off with the best intentions only to crash and burn within a few months. What makes your service one in which we can put our hard earned cash and faith in? Obviously your blistering start on RAS is very encouraging thus far...

Why did you suspend your managed accounts service earlier this year?

Will your new managed account service be % commission based on net profit high water mark?

Can you elaborate on your collective experience and background in trading/managing accounts?

Thanks!

Yes we aware that lot of signal providers have tried at RAS. We don't really want to overhype our trades, so at this point there is no super uniqueness in our service. Lets just call this RAS service as a first step, and hopefully everything will go fine.

We don't have a crystal ball to tell what the market will do, so we will have loosing trades also.

All we can say is we are very determined to stay and make pips on RAS, and yeah we don't deny that we are also making this service to earn some money.

We suspended our managed account because one of our team who is an excellent scalper and also a pro trader, had to go abroad for a few month, and, and he was mostly the one who managed these accounts. He is back now, and willing to stay to make lots of pips again.

Our managed service will be a % comission service.

We have the kind of money that we wouldn't need to do these services really, but it is just fun and gives us confidence. At it would be a very good feeling if our clients would be also happy about the money they making. That would be the beauty of all.

We are a team of three, who are trading since 2004. Oh yeah, those were the good old days. No one hear anything about forex, well at least only a small percent. Forex has grown so puplic in the past two years, we couldn't imagine. Lot of people see that forex is the "wild wild west" where you can make tons of money, but they are wrong. They put in all their savings to the broker, and blow their accounts all the time.

The fall of the economy also helped to pull in bitter people with their last money with the hype that they will be a millionare.

We are very suprised that most of these people think that they buy a $97 dollar "system" and they actually believe that they can be a millionare.

For them: Guys, you have to LEARN first!

We also had our own mistakes in the beginning. But we evolved, and by 2006 we made constant profits.

We like the idea to run a service where customers have their trades "automated", and not by some junk EA. But this is a long road, and we are only taking the first step now.

So back to the ground, lets not overhype: yet we are only a small signal provider

In what ways have you seen people blow their accounts? Can you give us tips and examples so we don't blow our accounts?

For example, if we spread our cash between different brokers, how much cash should we put with each broker? Also, if we spread our cash between multiple brokers, won't that reduce our max lot size per trade since we won't have enough to cover more positions and larger drawdowns? What's the largest number of positions you have had open at one time? What's the largest number of positions we should allow? What's the largest drawdown % you have experienced?

Sidenote: For some reason I couldn't get in to the "buy audjpy @ 78.929" trade (RAS_ID 585376 + FXCM-UK broker + Boston Technologies VPS) ... anyone else have this issue?

Most of the time people blow up their account of the oversized lot. Thats all... The key to survive the forex market is to trade relatively small. Well... Actually there are traders wo are able to make big money from small capital, but in some way that is gambling. Everyone has his own trading strategy, ours is to trade with drawdown. Btw, yen pairs sure nailed us today, but no worries. We like audjpy because it pays good swap and we will hold it for long term.

We don't said that you have to spread your money to all kind of brokers. No! You only need to find a reliable one thats all.

As we said on our website and on our RAS stat page we are prepared to hold 20-30% drawdown at all times. We will use a "hard stop" if nesessary. So you next question is "What is your hard stop?". We don't know Yeah it sound weird, but it all depends on fundamentals and both technicals. If we see that there isno way that the trade is going to last in profit we will close it, but until then we wil try to hedge against it andmake as much pips as possible.

Also we are prepared to take about 20-30 positions at all time. If we will have much positions the odds will be very high that we will make constant profits day by day from the market. We had a trade on our personal account which went agains us 2500 pips but we hedged it,and now it is almost in profit.

Sorry to hear your problem with RAS, but heyy you missed a dangler trade

No worries guys this is normal, and we will hedge it out and make more pips.

You have held 20-30 positions at one time? Ok, so, how much cash do we need to have in a micro, mini or standard account in order to handle 30 simultaneous standard or fractional positions?

I read a few interesting NFP strategies here ...

Yeah we had about 30 positions at one time. But of course we are aware that we can't hold these much on our RAS account because of our subscribers with lower balance, and with microlots, so don't worry we will try to reduce our open trades at all times for RAS.

Yeah, the biggest event today will be NFP, we may not take trades until then, the market is dead quiet. Next week should be exciting.

I was looking at the "Balance" and "Equity" curves on the one week chart here ... GLOBIS FOREX | Rent a Signal ... and was wondering why the Equity was equal to the Balance even though we're floating several lots in the negative. Shouldn't the Equity curve reflect the floating positions?

RAS Equity curve used to have some delay, usually they update once a day, But we don't understand it very much either, they have a "strange" equity curve fore sure.
