WR1:
Please can some have a look at the alerts on this Osma, as they rarely ever alert, and sometimes just alert the wrong way

ideally if the indi can alert once and every time the up and down histo bars cross the zero line, but in real time not after a bar close

and if the other up / down alert can be fixed aswell i would be very grateful

i've tried to it sort out and have found many similar versions on the net - but none seem to work properly

here's a couple of the ones found - both almost the same

although would prefer if Osma(2) can be fixed (if possible)

as its had the long numbers in window removed already

Wr1, This home made one alerts, but it is somewhat different from standard metatrader Osma, maybe it will be of some use to you.

is there any way to speed up the settings in the code, to make it a bit faster?

WR1 what i noticed was when using the OsmaMultiplier on the version i posted caused the problem, I didnt have parenthesis around the macd - signal threw the osma out of wack, anyway fixed on this version, its now the same and now i owe you a few more beers for bringing this up. Thanks!

i noticed something different about the multiplier, but thought thats just how it was,

think i still owe you more beers though lol

as the Macd Bar you made the other wk is working quite well - i don't know how i managed without it now

turns out the other OSMAs alerts were upside down - after changing the wording around they work abit better

but still does nt alert quite right when passing the zeroline

only just had chance to test the new one but seems a bit better - possibly better now than the other OSMAs

with some nice earlier signals and without being speeded up quite so much

would of nailed gold today lol, if only

Sorry, not understanding what you are asking for, but fixed the repainting though in this version.

new MACD needed...

Can somebody help by modifying a common MACD indicator to fit my case:

usually we use EMA in MACD, but I want the new MACD can let me choose whether it is SMA/EMA/SMMA/LWMA/T3/LSMA freely.

for example, in a normal parameter of 12/26/9.

I can select 12 SMA + 26 EMA + 9 SMA

or 12 EMA + 26 LWMA + 9 LSMA

or 12 T3 + 26 SMMA + 9 EMA

I need a MACD with any kind of combination.

Can anyone give help? Thank you.
