Can this MACD colors mtf indicator be re-constructed as a true histogram, ie. histogram above zero and not as the traditional oscillator histogram please. The signal line is calculated base on the absolute value of MACD. TQ

meaning, alert will only sound when price closed above 0.01 and below 0.01
zero cross are not accurate enough.

Thanks Much.ZMMRPS MACD is an unbound indicator. And it depends on symbols and time frames. Meaning : value of a macd on a 1 minute cghart is much, much smaller than on monthly for example. using some fixed levels would not help at all. Try some macd versions that have dynamic levels

Hope everything is fine.I need the same feature on macd.I got a macd version that i like the use beacuse freedom to chose ma types.But the level should be adjustable because the reasons you mentioned before.I only use one timeframe (15min) and 2 pairs to trade so no big deal for me..The indicator should alert when predefined level meet.Hope i explain it.Here is the macd variation that i am talked about.If you put alert on this that would be great.Thnx in advance!Have plenty of pips.macd_2_colour_histogram.mq4

Thnx for the quick response.I checked picture of it and looks good but those problems are oke for me i can handle them,already doing it.I mean i do mtf analysis but with higher timeframes you dont need to work often.But i just don t want to wait and watching charts all day long.If you can help me i am appreciate that.Thnx in advance.

with due respect,can you manage time to make under these 2 MACDs indies in to nmc ver,they have a lot of errors and warnings when compile,or,possibly refer to a nmc ver link.
