concerns

Hello all,

this is my first post on this forum so I wanted to say hello to everybody:-)

I also have a problem, I am really confused about scalp_net EA system.

I have 5 digit broker so from what I have red best version for me will be:

"- Scalp_net_v1.5 for 5 digit broker with indicator converted fr 5 digit as well is on this post."

1. Is that correct??? Or should I use another one? (I want most stable but not big income).

2. In the code of this ea it is written that it works best on M1 timeframe with default settings, but I see that Newdigital is testing it on M15 timeframe...? So what timeframe should I use to get best resoults???

3. I saw also settings files for 5M timeframes for different pairs in this toppic: https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/general and this one makes me really confused, because they seems to be not working with 5 digit broker version of scalp_net_v1.5. So should it be 1M, 5M or 15M??? And which settings should I use???

4. I also saw that there are different settings files for different pairs (5m USD/JPY for example) and newdigital also wrote, that he couldn't find any profitable settings for it except EUR/USD. So should I use it on EUR/USD only for safe and stable resoults? Or There are profitable settings for it for other pairs also?

Please help noob polish trader, to make his holly grail working:-)

At the end some info about my broker and account:

- broker: bossaFX

- 5 digit broker but not for all pair EUR/USD for example - 1.41571/89 (spread 1.8) USD/JPY - 75.740/60 (spread 2.0)

- deposit: 4510,26 PLN (around 1396 USD)

- type of account: real (demo expired)

Scalp_net.

- Scalp_net - EA with the settings.

- Scalp_net - EA's indicators and template (for manual trading only because this EA does not need any custom indicator).

- Scalp_net_v1.2 and Scalp_net_v1.2 for mini account are here. This version is identical with Scalp_net but may work together with any EA.

- Scalp_net_v1.3 EA and Scalp_net_v1.3 EA for mini account with preset file are here. Now we can select number of orders per chart. It was one order per chart in v1 and v1.2. It means that new order will not open untill old one will be closed. With the version 1.3 we may select the number of the orders.

- Scalp_net_v1.3 with timefilter and Scalp_net_v1.3 with timefilter for mini account are here. And see the statement.

- Scalp_net_v1.5 and and same version for mini account with the settings posted here. More advanced version working with 4/5 digit broker and with 0.1/0.01 lot size is on this post.

- Scalp_net_v1.5 with timefilter and same version with timefilter for mini account is here. Don't forget to use indicator and pre-set files from this post.

- New modification of ScalpNet 1.3 TF and same modification for mini account according to stevenmclachlan idea are here: trailing stop applies outside of the specificied trading hours.

- Turbo Scalp net v2.3sar and same version for mini account: new modification from mrtools. This version is the combination of Combined Scalp_net_1.3sl and Scalp_net_1.5 with all the indicators changed to turbo versions and MM codes are the same as in to Predator EA. M5 timeframe is preferable.

- Turbo Scalp net v2.3sar ECN is on this post.

- Turbo Scalp net v2.3sar ECN noHedge is on this post.

- Scalp_net_1.3.3_tf EA from bagoomba: EA, template and pre-set file is on this post. Fixed version of this EA is on this post: covers 4/5 digit brokers (it adapts to 4/5 digit brokers automatically), it also has one additional option : ecnBroker. If your broker is an ECN/STP broker than it does not allow placing stop loss and take profit at the same time with order opening so the stop loss and take profit must be handled separately.

- Scalp_net 1.3 indicator was created - ScalpNetEvaluator. It is based on the code in the v1.3 EA. It essentially plots 4 bars- each corresponding to one of the entry criteria of the EA.

My comments.

It was many years ago when I wanted to create EA based on very simple system and no one coder was available on that time. So, I studies Codersguru lessons posted on our forumn, some other lessons and created very first version using some java creator of the EAs. Later on I improved this EA. And later on - some more coders looked at it and improved too. So, finally - we are having many versions of this very simple system (I am trading just 2 versions only).

Very first version was participated on our tsd contest and won 2nd and 1st price.

Most stable version is 1.5.

Hi lewan,

There are many versions of Scalp_net EAs.

I am trading 2 versions:

Scalp_net_v1.5 on M5 timeframe for EURUSD - you can download it from this post:

https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/173371/page25

It is for 5 digit broker (I am using Alpari):

I use default settings (no money management, fixed lot size as 0.1).

You can use 0.01 for example.

2. In the code of this ea it is written that it works best on M1 timeframe with default settings, but I see that Newdigital is testing it on M15 timeframe...? So what timeframe should I use to get best resoults???

Originally this EA very first versions were created for M1 timeframe. But 1.5 versions are using M5 timeframe. Not M15 (sorry - my mistake; I am using M54 with 1.5 versions - see image above with chart).

I use this EA for 5 digit with default settings for EURUSD only M5 timeframe. I could not find stable settings for the other pairs sorry. yes, I traded for many pairs for the long time but ... EURUSD only was profitable during the long time.

- broker: bossaFX

I do not know this broker sorry. Try to download EA and indicator, place indicator in indicator folder and EA in expert folder of your metatrader directory, and compile both in MetaEditor (open MetaEditor, find EA and indicator and compile). And try to backtest. If EA is opened the trades in backtesting so it should work in trading. Change lot size to 0.012 if your broker allows you to trade by 0.01.

- 5 digit broker but not for all pair EUR/USD for example - 1.41571/89 (spread 1.8) USD/JPY - 75.740/60 (spread 2.0)

Yes, it is 5 digit:

1.41571

No idea about what is /89 sorry.

- deposit: 4510,26 PLN (around 1396 USD)

- type of account: real (demo expired)

1396 deposit?

Please note that this EA is having stop loss = 100 pips (4 digit pips).

For lot size 0.1: 100 dollars.

means: every single loss = 100 dollars in case you are using lot size = 0.1

I see from my statement that max consecutive loss = 3. Means: 300 dollars.

So, do not use 0.1 lot size with this deposit. Use 0.01, or 0.03 for example. Start with small lot size.

And it may be good to compare your trades (results) with my results. Because sometimes - datafeed is different for different brokers.

Hello,

I use the Skalp_net 1.5

I have 3 open positions, is so right?

100 pip TP and 100 pip SL?

this is 5 Digit version, on Alpari UK

if a picture of MT4 has made

Files:

I am using Alpari NZ/rus - 5 digit too.

I did not have the trades today.

It is my settings:

And it is the trades for this week (+42 pips by one trade only) - in 5 digit points, divide by 10 to get pips:

Reason:
