I am using one pre-set file for all the pairs.

And yes, magic numbers should be different because EA is selecting the magic number figures (two last figures) automatically to each order (3 sell stop and 3 buy stop for each pair). So each order is having the different magic number. All you need to do is to select magic numbers for each trading pairs keeping last two 0 without any changing.

So I have the following magic numbers:

EURUSD 11000

GBPUSD 12000

USDJPY 13000

USDCHF 14000

AUDUSD 15000

USDCAD 16000

Last week this EA did 743 pips in profit for GBPUSd or 4,736 dollars (initial deposit was 50,000.

This EA is testing with the same settings since April 2006 for GBPUSd and since since January 2006 for EURUSD.

I changed the account two times so to see all the performance it is necessary to dowlnoad excel file or the statements https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/174416

If we took just last account so it was tested since September 2006 and this EA did the following:

In Pips:

EURUSD

-94 pips.

Total trades 53

Profit factor 0.92

GBPUSD

+1287 pips.

Total trades 84.

Profit factor 1.44

In dollars (initial deposit 50,000 with MM):

EURUSD

+868 dollars.

Total trades 53.

Profit factor 1.10

Max drawdown: 14.20%.

GBPUSD

+7965 dollars.

Total trades 84.

Profit factor 1.32

Max drawdown: 13.56%.

Why this EA is more profitable for GBPUSD?

because this pair is more volatile ansd this EA is based on breakout of Envelopes indicator. This EA can be profitable with EURUSD in long way run.

2 questions

hey ND. first of all i wanted to thank you for replying my messeges so quiqly and eficiently. i have two questions regarding envelope ea:

1. initial deposit size: how big does it have to be trading gbp/usd and eur/usd, or just eur/usd.

2. can it be programed/coded that when using this ea alongside a martingale system like predator, the predator will follow envelope in its trades? the main difficulty with martingale systems is their partial inability to spot sudden market breakouts, which this system is specialized in.

thanks alot for your help.

I am having 50,000 for 2 pairs.

But you can use 5,000 as well. It depends on MM settings in the EA. And you may download the statements to see drawdown and so on (i don't remember sorry) to decide about minimum initial deposit size.

As to martingale so I tried many Envelope EAs (there are a lot of versions in this public forum) and it is only one which is profitable for 2 years forward testing with the same settings.

Visual statement using Account Equity Analyzer tool.

0.1 lot size with MM = true (mostly 0.1 and sometimes 0.6 for excample).

Forward testing results for more than 1 year with same settings.
