I'm happy to get whatever pips I can get, but I mostly trade what I see on my monitor. Indicators are fine, but we shouldn't have them replace plain old "gut feeling."
For example: Since earlier today I'd been looking for a breakout after yesterday's news took its course. Why? Because there really wasn't anything new that came out of it! I knew the market would correct itself sooner than later. Common horse sense?
