This guide shows how to install the panel, open a trade with the exact risk you want, use the draggable lines and pending orders, and set up the automatic breakeven, partial close and trailing stop.

Product pages: TravaRisco Trade Manager (MT5) | TravaRisco Trade Manager MT4

1. Installation

  • Buy or download the product from the Market inside your terminal (Market tab of the Toolbox / Terminal window).
  • Drag "TravaRisco_TradeManager" from the Navigator (Market folder) onto the chart of the symbol you want to trade.
  • MT5: enable Algo Trading in the toolbar. MT4: enable AutoTrading and tick "Allow live trading" in the Common tab of the EA properties (F7).
  • If the panel shows "Enable Algo Trading first" / "Enable AutoTrading first", one of the two switches above is still off.

2. Your risk: % or money

  • The first field is your risk per trade. The small %/$ button switches between % of balance and a fixed amount in your account currency.
  • Stop loss is in points. Take profit is a risk:reward ratio (2.0 = target twice the stop; 0 = no take profit).
  • The panel shows the lot, the real money at risk after the lot is rounded to your broker's volume step, SL/TP in points and the spread.

3. Market orders in one click

  • Click BUY or SELL. The trade opens with the calculated lot, stop loss and take profit already placed.
  • If the stop is closer than the broker allows, it is widened to the minimum automatically. If the free margin is not enough, the lot is reduced so the order is not rejected.

4. Draggable lines and pending orders

  • Click LINES. Three lines appear: ENTRY (blue), STOP (red) and TARGET (green).
  • Drag the STOP line: the stop in points, the lot and the risk are recalculated. The TARGET follows your risk:reward.
  • Drag the TARGET line: the risk:reward changes.
  • Drag the ENTRY line: the three lines move together. Each line shows the money you lose at the stop or win at the target.
  • Put the STOP below the ENTRY for a buy, above it for a sell. The button then shows the right order type: BUY LIMIT, BUY STOP, SELL LIMIT or SELL STOP. Click it to place the pending order.
  • BUY / SELL still open at market price and use the stop distance and risk:reward from the lines.

5. Automatic management

  • Breakeven: when profit reaches 1R (input), the stop moves to the entry plus a small offset to cover costs.
  • Partial close: closes 50% (input) at 1R, once per position.
  • Trailing stop, starting at 1.5R (input), three types:
    • Fixed points: the stop follows the price at a fixed distance.
    • ATR multiple: the distance adapts to volatility (ATR period, multiple and timeframe are inputs).
    • Candle low / high: the stop follows the lowest low (buy) or highest high (sell) of the last N closed candles, plus an offset.
  • The stop only ever moves in your favour. "R" is the initial risk of each trade and is saved, so a terminal restart does not lose it.
  • By default only trades opened by the panel are managed. Set "Also manage manual / other trades" to true to manage every trade on that symbol.

6. Buttons and hotkeys

  • Breakeven: moves all managed stops to breakeven now (if the price is far enough).
  • Close 50%: closes half of every managed position.
  • Close all: closes the managed positions and deletes the managed pending orders. Trades from other EAs are not touched.
  • Hotkeys, holding Shift: B buy, S sell, P place pending order, L lines on/off, E breakeven, H close 50%, X close all. They can be turned off in the inputs.

7. Strategy Tester

The Market demo runs only in the Strategy Tester. In visual mode the panel opens sample trades (only in the tester) so you can watch the lot calculation, breakeven, partial close and trailing working. On a demo or live account trades are only opened by your clicks.
