Classic Breakout Surfer reads market structure across several timeframes and waits for conditions that point to a real breakout. When those conditions are met, it handles the entry by itself. Orders stay close to price and are managed dynamically, and the EA does not chase moves that have already happened.

Once a trade is open, the EA protects profit in several layers, including a dedicated spike lock that reacts quickly when gold makes a sudden move in your favour.

Every trade has a hard stop loss from the moment it is placed. There is no martingale, no grid, no averaging down and no lot increase after a loss.

You now have full control over how much of your account the EA uses:

• Balance used by the EA: choose what part of your balance the EA works with. With $10,000 and 20%, it sizes trades as if the balance were $2,000.

• Maximum open trades: a hard limit on how many trades and pending orders can be open at once.

• Maximum total risk in use: caps the combined risk of all open trades at the same time.

• Daily loss limit: stops trading for the day when your limit is reached.

Yes. The EA uses the MetaTrader 5 economic calendar to pause new trades around important releases. No external websites or setup are needed.
