When something isn't copied, the receiver's Log tab shows the reason. Look there first.
The transmitter doesn't appear in the receiver's dropdown
- The transmitter must be running (Mode = Transmitter) on the same PC or VPS.
- Both terminals must run under the same Windows user; another user has a different shared folder.
- Wait a few seconds and open the dropdown again (it rescans each time).
Receiver status messages

"Not copied" reasons in the Log
- symbol X not found: set the prefix/suffix, or add it to Symbol map (e.g. XAUUSD=GOLD )
- spread too high / price moved … points from the transmitter entry / signal too old: increase or disable (0) Max spread, Max price deviation or Max signal age in the Copy tab
- calculated lot is 0: check the Lot mode settings, or set a Min lot
- max total lots reached / max copied trades reached / margin level too low: limits from the Protection tab
- outside copy hours: check Copy from hour / Copy until hour (server time)
- news window: the News filter is blocking copies around news
- protection stop active: a protection limit was hit; press START to reset it
- symbol / magic number / comment filter, direction filter: excluded by your filters
- market orders are not copied / pending orders are not copied: enable them in the Copy tab
Other questions
- Trades opened before START were not copied. That's by design; enable Copy trades already open at START if you want them.
- I closed a copy by hand and it didn't reopen. That's by design: a copy you close on the receiver is never reopened.
- The Log says the order "was executed although the server reported an error – adopted, not opened again". This is the duplicate protection working: the broker reported an error for an order that was actually filled, so CopyDeck took it over instead of opening a second trade.
- MT4 news: calendar unavailable. Add https://nfs.faireconomy.media under Tools → Options → Expert Advisors → Allow WebRequest for listed URL.
- The dashboard is too big or too small. Settings tab → Dashboard size (Auto fits the chart).
- The text looks soft. Settings tab → Font (try Tahoma or Segoe UI).
- Demo: "Demo session ended". One 4-hour session per day; the next one becomes available after 24 hours. "Free trial ended" means the 3-day trial is over. The full version has no limits.
