Aurum Vector Motion: Selective XAUUSD Trading with Defined Risk
Automated trading does not need to mean constant market exposure, aggressive volume growth or complicated recovery systems. Aurum Vector Motion was developed around a more selective idea: wait for suitable directional movement, confirm the quality of the setup and manage one position according to predefined rules.
The Expert Advisor is calibrated for XAUUSD on the M1 timeframe. Its purpose is not to open the maximum possible number of trades. Some sessions can produce several opportunities, while other periods may produce no trades. This selectivity is part of the strategy.
How the strategy evaluates the market
Aurum Vector Motion combines completed-candle information with live price movement. Its decision process includes:
- Completed-candle body and wick structure
- Live price velocity and acceleration
- Directional efficiency
- Recent market structure
- Spread and execution conditions
- An adaptive evidence gate
A trade is considered only when the required conditions agree. If the movement is weak, disorganized, excessively extended or unsuitable for the configured execution limits, the EA can continue waiting.
The adaptive evidence gate
One distinguishing feature is the adaptive evidence gate. It evaluates prior eligible observations and can place the strategy in one of three operating states:
Normal — valid setups can be accepted normally.
Reduced — the EA becomes more selective and accepts fewer otherwise-valid setups.
Off — new entries are paused while existing positions remain managed.
The gate does not predict the future and cannot eliminate losses. Its purpose is to reduce new exposure when recent evidence does not satisfy the internal requirements.
Simple default position sizing
The Market version uses a fixed 0.01 lot by default. Growth in the account balance does not automatically increase the volume.
This gives the buyer a simple and transparent starting configuration:
- Fixed 0.01-lot default
- No volume increase after a loss
- No automatic compounding unless optional balance-step sizing is selected
- Broker volume and free-margin checks before an order is submitted
Optional balance-step sizing is available, but it must be enabled manually and tested separately.
No grid and no martingale
Aurum Vector Motion does not use grid or martingale logic. It does not continue adding positions against an adverse market move and does not increase the next position to recover a previous loss.
The EA manages one strategy position on the attached symbol. This makes its exposure easier to understand than systems that build large baskets of positions.
Defined position management
Every accepted position receives a predefined stop loss. The EA then uses progressive trailing management as the position moves in a favourable direction.
Its management process includes:
- Initial stop protection
- Progressive trailing
- Broker stop-distance validation
- Spread rechecking
- Margin and volume validation
- Continued management even when the evidence gate pauses new entries
No trading system can guarantee that a stop will be filled at the requested price. Gaps, slippage, liquidity and broker execution can affect the final result.
Designed for practical operation
Aurum Vector Motion does not require DLL access or WebRequest permission. The customer installs it through MQL5 Market, opens the broker’s XAUUSD M1 chart, keeps the fixed 0.01-lot default and enables algorithmic trading.
Broker suffixes containing XAUUSD can be recognized, but every broker should be tested separately. Contract size, point value, spread, commission, server time and tick history can all change the result.
Who may find this approach useful?
Aurum Vector Motion may be suitable for traders who prefer:
- Selective rather than continuous trading
- A fixed and understandable default volume
- One managed strategy position
- No grid or martingale
- A defined stop and progressive trailing
- Detailed setup and testing instructions
A EUR 500 account is used as a reference evaluation balance, but it is not a guarantee of safety. Required margin and loss tolerance depend on the broker, leverage, symbol specification and market conditions.
Evaluation before live use
The MQL5 Market demo can be evaluated in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester. Buyers should reproduce the reference conditions, test additional periods and then run the EA on a demo account using their own broker’s data.
Historical and simulated performance does not guarantee future results. Leveraged trading can produce losses, and only risk capital should be used.
