I know how that sounds - every EA page says something like it. The difference is what comes next: I am going to show you exactly where the number comes from, and then hand you the tools to check it yourself, for free, in about ten minutes.
THE NUMBER
It comes from a backtest: 2018.01.01 - 2026.07.31, XAUUSD H1, 10,000 deposit, leverage 1:500, default settings - the exact configuration behind every number I publish.
Year by year:
2018: +40.7% 2019: +47.4% 2020: +35.3% 2021: +62.6% 2022: +95.2% 2023: +145.8% 2024: +117.9% 2025: +223.0% 2026 (Jan-Jul): +19.5%
Compounded: 10,000 became 1,840,903. Nine years tested, nine years green - through the 2018 grind, the 2020 panic, the 2022 rate shocks and three different gold regimes.
And one more cut of the same data, sharper than the years: slice the whole backtest into every possible rolling 12-month window - there are 92 of them - and not a single one closed negative. The worst 12-month stretch in 8.6 years still ended +1.2%.
HOW A SYSTEM STAYS GREEN FOR NINE YEARS
Not by magic, and not by trading every day. Kingdom Knight Gold does two unfashionable things:
- Every single order is placed with a hard stop loss at the broker. Damage is capped by design, on every trade, with no exceptions.
- It only trades when its conditions are met - about two trades a week on average. No forced trades in dead markets, because forced trades are how accounts die.
Selective entries plus capped damage, compounded for nine years. That is the entire engine.
A FOOTNOTE THAT MAKES THE NUMBER BIGGER, NOT SMALLER
The +19.5% for 2026 is actually understated. In the nine-year run the balance grows so large that position sizing hits its ceiling, which compresses the late-year percentages. Backtest the same seven months of 2026 on a fresh 10,000 account and the result comes out near +70%. The headline figure is the conservative reading.
