Trade Ideas: EUR/USD, USD/JPY, EUR/CHF, USD/CHF, GBP/USD, AUD/USD, NZD/USD - UB
The following are UBS' latest short-term (mostly intraday) trading strategies for EUR/USD, USD/JPY, EUR/CHF, USD/CHF, GBP/USD, AUD/USD, and NZD/USD.
EUR/USD: The range play around 1.1000 remains intact. We wouldn't be surprised if there was another squeeze to test 1.1050/60. Look to sell into any squeeze, adding at 1.1080/85, with a stop at 1.1120.
USD/JPY: We prefer selling USDJPY close to the overnight high, with a stop through 113.40.
EUR/CHF, USD/CHF: We prefer selling on rallies towards 1.0930/50, with the next support at 1.0867 and 1.0825. USDCHF: Like the cross, USDCHF seems to be consolidating as well, and we prefer selling on rallies.
AUD/USD: Overall, AUDUSD price action remains constructive. We would stick to buying in dips, ideally closer to 0.7100, with a stop at 0.7025.
NZD/USD: Stick to longs, looking to take profit toward 0.6720. The pair is a range play and we like buying on dips, with a stop below 0.6500.
