FVG Horizon is a Fair Value Gap channel indicator for MetaTrader 5. Instead of filling the chart with extending FVG boxes, it combines active bullish and bearish imbalances into a smooth, adaptive channel.
The indicator detects three-candle Fair Value Gaps, stores their relevant price levels and automatically removes them after price closes through the level. The remaining active levels are averaged and smoothed to create dynamic upper and lower channel boundaries.
Three configurable Fibonacci levels are plotted inside the channel to provide additional reaction, retracement and target references.
Signal System
FVG Horizon identifies potential mean-reversion opportunities when price moves beyond the channel structure.
-
Bull signals highlight downside displacement below the lower channel area.
-
Bear signals highlight upside displacement above the upper channel area.
-
Super Bull and Super Bear signals identify larger percentage deviations from the channel.
-
A built-in cooldown prevents signals from appearing too frequently.
-
An optional tick-volume filter can require above-average volume before confirming a signal.
-
Signals are displayed directly on the chart with arrows and text labels.
-
Optional vertical highlights make stronger signals easier to locate.
Target and Stop-Loss Guides
The indicator can display visual target and stop-loss levels after a signal.
Available target modes:
-
Percentage target
-
Fibonacci Level 1
-
Fibonacci Level 2
-
Fibonacci Level 3
-
No target
Separate percentage settings are available for standard and Super signals. The length and thickness of the displayed target and stop-loss guides can also be adjusted.
Historical Outcome Tracking
FVG Horizon includes an internal signal-outcome tracker. It records target and stop-loss results separately for:
-
Bull signals
-
Bear signals
-
Super Bull signals
-
Super Bear signals
Two configurable chart panels display wins, losses and historical win ratios. These statistics are intended as a quick reference for evaluating the current settings on the loaded chart. They are not a guarantee of future performance or a replacement for proper strategy testing.

Suggested Use
FVG Horizon can be used to identify price displacement, potential mean-reversion areas and reactions around active market imbalances. Signals should be assessed together with market structure, trend direction, support and resistance, liquidity and the user’s own risk-management rules.
The indicator works on the symbol and timeframe of the chart to which it is attached. Settings should be adjusted for the volatility and behaviour of each market.
FVG Horizon is an analytical indicator. It does not open, manage or close trades automatically.
