Golden Mind EA is a fully automated Expert Advisor designed for MetaTrader 5, built around a dynamic grid-based trading approach combined with intelligent position management.

Unlike traditional grid systems that rely on fixed take-profit levels, Golden Mind EA uses a pair-based closing logic. The system continuously calculates the combined result of positions and closes them when a defined profit level above the break-even line is reached. This allows the EA to adapt to changing market conditions and secure profits even during ranging or unstable price action.

The EA now supports flexible trading direction modes:

• BUY only
• SELL only
• BUY & SELL

This gives traders full control over strategy behavior depending on market conditions.

Important Notice

During development, the EA was tested on Gold (XAU/USD). However, due to the high volatility and strong trending nature of this instrument, trading Gold is considered high risk and is not recommended as the primary instrument.

Currently, the EA is being tested on EURUSD, which offers more stable conditions for this strategy.

It is strongly recommended to use:

• Demo account, or
• Cent account (minimum $300 balance)

before moving to a live trading environment.

Input Parameters

General Settings

• MagicNumber – Unique ID for EA positions
• TradeDirection – Trading mode (BUY / SELL / BUY & SELL)
• MinutesBetweenTrades – Minimum time between opening new trades
• MaxRiskPercent – Maximum allowed risk exposure (safety limiter)
• TradingStartHour / Minute – Defines when trading begins

Lot Settings

• InitialLot – Starting lot size
• LotMultiplier – Multiplier for subsequent grid positions
  (Higher value = higher risk)

Grid Settings

• GridStepPips – Distance between grid orders (in pips)
• GridStepMultiplier – Expands grid spacing dynamically

Take Profit Settings

• InitialLotTakeProfit – Currently under refinement. This parameter may not function as originally intended in all scenarios. However, the EA’s core pair-based closing logic remains fully operational and continues to manage positions automatically. In practice, trades are still closed dynamically based on the break-even logic, which may even lead to more consistent overall results.
• CloseProfitDiffPips – Profit target above break-even (core logic)
• BasketTakeProfit – Closes all positions at total profit level
• DailyProfitTarget – Stops trading after daily target is reached

Stop Loss Settings

• UseStopLoss – Enable/disable Stop Loss
• StopLossPips – Stop Loss distance in pips

Break-Even Line

• ShowBreakEvenLine – Displays BE level on the chart

Golden Mind EA uses a grid-based strategy, which inherently carries risk, especially in strong trending markets.

Improper settings, high lot multipliers, or trading volatile instruments (such as Gold) may lead to significant drawdowns.
