Overview

Breakout BuyStop SellStop Pro is a MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor for range breakout trading on liquid symbols, with primary focus on XAUUSD (Gold) and optional use on BTCUSD-class symbols where your broker supports clean pending execution.

The Pro edition places and manages breakout brackets with synthetic OCO-style cancellation, Donchian / ATR channel range logic, order auto-expiration (to avoid stale fills), and trailing that activates only after momentum confirmation. Risk profile is non-martingale, single-position oriented.

Trading involves substantial risk of loss. No performance is guaranteed. Demo-test thoroughly and align settings with your broker stop-level and prop rules if applicable.

How It Works

1. Range construction — The EA computes recent high/low structure using lookback / Donchian-style logic, optionally widened or filtered with ATR.
2. Bracket placement — BuyStop above the range and SellStop below (parameters depend on preset). When one side fills, the opposite pending is cancelled (synthetic OCO behavior).
3. Expiration — Untriggered pendings can expire so the book does not keep stale orders after the market regime changes.
4. Management — SL/TP set at or after entry per rules; trailing may start only after breakout momentum confirmation.
5. Risk layer — Spread gating, margin checks, and configurable equity drawdown lockout help keep exposure bounded — you must configure thresholds to your own policy.
