SETUP GUIDE (24 parameters)

1. General Settings

  • Direction (InpDirection):
    • What it does: long only, short only, or both
    • Default: Both · Recommended: Both

2. Ichimoku

  • Tenkan-sen (9): fast line · 7-8 = more signals · 10-12 = more filtering · 9
  • Kijun-sen (26): equilibrium line · 26
  • Senkou Span B (52): cloud · 52
  • Displacement (26): cloud projection · 26

3. Long Signals / 4. Short Signals

  • Entry Tier (Strong+Neutral):
    • Strong Only = few, highest quality
    • Strong+Neutral = recommended (validated)
    • All = more signals, more noise
  • Exit Tier (All): cuts losses fast and catches the reversal

5. MTF Filter

  • Use HTF Filter (false): when on, only trades with the higher-TF trend
    • false = validated, higher return · true = less noise in ranges
  • HTF (D1): only relevant if the filter is on

6. Risk Management

  • Stop Mode (ATR): ATR = adapts to volatility · Fixed % = percentage · None = do not use
  • ATR Length (14): ATR periods
  • ATR Stop Mult (1.5): 2.0+ = wider SL · 1.0 = more, smaller stops · 1.5
  • ATR Target Mult (3.0): 1:2 ratio · 3.0
  • TP % / SL % (0): only if mode = Fixed %

7. Position Sizing

  • Mode (Risk-Based): risk ÷ stop distance · or Fixed % of equity
  • Risk per Trade (1.0%): 1% conservative · 2% aggressive · 1.0
  • Max Position (50%): protection against over-sizing
  • Cloud Scaling (false): scale by cloud thickness · not validated
  • Scale min/max (0.5/1.5): only if cloud scaling is on
