Complete Trade Logger records every trade you close into a clean, ready-to-analyze CSV file. Unlike timer-based loggers, it is fully event-driven, so it captures everything: partial closes, fast round-trips, stop-loss and take-profit hits, manual closes, and margin stop-outs.
For each closed trade it records:
- Open and close time, and trade duration
- Symbol, direction, and volume
- Open price, close price, and the entry stop-loss / take-profit
- Profit, commission, swap, and net result
- Exit reason (Stop Loss / Take Profit / Manual / Stop Out / EA)
- Position ID, magic number, and comment
Works in live trading and in the Strategy Tester. Save the file to the shared Common folder so you can open it directly in Excel or feed it into your own analytics.
Inputs let you choose the file name and folder, log all symbols or just the chart symbol, filter by magic number, and toggle the on-chart counter.
Free to use. If it helps your journaling, please leave a rating.
If this logger is useful to you, you might want the other side of the same coin.
CompleteTradeLogger tells you what already happened. My paid tool, Correlation Risk Manager, shows you the risk you're carrying right now, before it costs you — how your open trades secretly move together, your true correlation-adjusted VaR, and how big your next trade should be given what you already hold. Same idea, opposite direction: one records, the other warns.
