BossFx SMA Pro Trend EA is a professional automated trading system built for MetaTrader 5, developed by BossFx Academy. It uses a dual Simple Moving Average crossover strategy to identify trend direction and execute trades with precision risk management.
STRATEGY The EA monitors two SMAs — a Fast MA (default: 10) and a Slow MA (default: 30). When the Fast MA crosses above the Slow MA, the bot enters a Buy. When the Fast MA crosses below, it enters a Sell. Signals are confirmed on closed candles to avoid false triggers.
RISK MANAGEMENT
- Percentage-based lot sizing (default: 1% risk per trade)
- Daily loss limit protection (default: 5% max daily drawdown)
- Maximum trades per day filter
- Spread filter to avoid high-spread entries
- Trading hours filter (default: 07:00 - 20:00)
TRADE MANAGEMENT
- Intelligent trailing stop with broker minimum stop level validation
- Trailing only activates once the trade is in profit
- Stop Loss and Take Profit on every trade
