For Basket BE, a good starting value is:
Basket BE: 0.5+
The best value depends on the user’s risk level, account size, broker spread, and trading style. A lower value may move the basket into protection mode faster, while a higher value may give trades more room to move.
If the broker accepts break-even stop modification correctly on XAUUSD, Basket BE can remain enabled. If the tester or live account shows “Invalid Stops”, turn Basket BE off and rely on Smart TP and basket recovery instead.
Scalability Guidance
Lot scaling should be adjusted carefully because XAUUSD is a highly volatile instrument. The lower the LotScalingBy value, the more aggressively the EA increases lot size as the balance grows.
Suggested scaling tiers:
Conservative: 1500+ Balanced: 1000 Aggressive: 500 Below 500: high risk, use with caution
For a safer default setup, use:
LotScalingBy: 1500 Lot Increase: 0.01 Fixed Lot: 0.01
This gives users a more stable out-of-the-box experience, while advanced users can manually increase risk based on their own account size and risk tolerance.

Aurum Trade EA uses recovery and grid-style logic. This means the EA may hold floating drawdown while waiting for basket recovery. There is no guarantee of profit, and past backtest performance does not guarantee future results.
Use low lot sizes, test on demo first, and avoid over-aggressive scaling on small accounts. Gold is highly volatile, especially during news events, market open, and geopolitical events.
