FVG Indicator (Current TF Zones + MTF Overview Panel)
This indicator detects and plots Fair Value Gaps (FVGs) on the current chart timeframe only and provides a clean multi-timeframe overview panel that counts how many active (unmitigated) FVGs exist on higher and lower timeframes.
Important: FVG zones are best viewed as potential buy/sell suggestion areas (areas of interest), not standalone trade signals. For higher-quality decisions, combine them with market bias, structure, trend context, key levels, and additional confirmation tools.
Key Features
-
Current Timeframe Zones Only
Displays FVG zones strictly from the timeframe of the chart you are viewing (e.g., M5 chart → only M5 FVG zones). -
Multi-Timeframe Overview Panel
Always shows an overview for M1, M5, M15, M30, H1, H4, D1 with:-
Bullish FVG count
-
Bearish FVG count
-
Total count
The active chart timeframe is highlighted in the panel.
-
-
Mitigation Logic
Choose how a zone becomes “mitigated”:-
Touch: zone is mitigated when price touches/enters the zone
-
Full: zone is mitigated when price fully crosses the zone
Optionally hide mitigated zones or display them in a separate style.
-
-
Visual Customization
-
Separate color inputs for bullish, bearish, and mitigated zones
-
Adjustable zone fill opacity
-
Separate text colors for labels
- Optional Alerts (FVG Zones)
Receive alerts for key FVG events such as new zone creation and zone touch/mitigation (configurable in the indicator inputs)
Inputs (Overview)
-
Scan lookback (bars), minimum FVG size filter, max zones shown on the chart
-
Zone extension (how far zones extend to the right)
-
Mitigation mode and option to show/hide mitigated zones
-
Zone colors + opacity, label colors, panel layout and style options
Notes
-
The indicator is designed to be lightweight and easy to read.
-
FVG zones are based on a 3-candle imbalance definition commonly used for Fair Value Gaps.
Recommended Use
Use the current-TF zones for precise entries, and the MTF overview panel to quickly understand where larger-timeframe imbalances are still active.

Good display of FVGs. Thank you!
