FX Adaptive: Quick Setup and Launch Guide
Congratulations on purchasing FX Adaptive! The algorithm is designed for maximum "Plug-and-Play" simplicity, meaning you do not need to download or load any third-party .set files. All the best parameters are already built directly into the Expert Advisor.
Follow these simple steps to launch the EA:
Step 1. Open a chart and attach the EA

Open the chart of the desired currency pair (e.g., EURUSD) in your MetaTrader 5 terminal.

Switch the chart timeframe to H1 (or the timeframe specified in the preset name).

Drag the FX_Adaptive_protected EA from the "Navigator" window onto the open chart. The settings window (the Inputs tab) will appear.
Step 2. Broker and Preset Selection (Most Important!)
The EA contains unique settings tailored for different brokers to ensure maximum efficiency.

=== BROKER SELECTOR ===
In the Active Broker row, double-click the value and select your broker from the drop-down list (e.g., Alpari Pro-ECN ). If your broker is not on the list, simply select the universal settings ( Custom Settings or Other ). -
=== PRESET SELECTOR (ALPARI) ===
In the Alpari Setup Profile row (or the row corresponding to your selected broker), double-click and select the pair matching the chart you currently have open (e.g., EURUSD (H1) ).
Note: If you opened a GBPUSD chart, you must select GBPUSD in this menu. The EA will then automatically apply the perfect settings for this specific pair.
Step 3. Time Filter Setup

Reference Time : A reference time used for internal algorithms. Leave it as is.

Use Time Filter : If set to false , the EA trades 24/5 according to its internal logic (Recommended).

Live Mode Only : Must be set to true . This confirms that the EA is ready for live trading.
Step 4. Money Management
This section configures your risk level and trade volumes.

Initial Balance ($) : Enter the size of your deposit allocated for trading (e.g., 500.0 ).

Risk Per Trade (%) : The risk per trade as a percentage of your deposit (default is 5.0% ). Attention: This option is active and applied only if the Use Preset Risk Settings parameter (one line below) is set to false . In manual mode, you can decrease this value for a more conservative approach or increase it for aggressive trading.

Use Preset Risk Settings : It is highly recommended to leave this as true (Use built-in settings). When enabled, the EA ignores your manual percentage settings and independently calculates the optimal, safe lot size based on a deeply tested profile.

Magic Number : A unique identifier for the EA ( 123456 ). Leave it as default. If you attach the EA to multiple different charts, you do not need to change this number; the algorithm automatically recognizes the pairs.
Step 5. Visualization

Show Trade Levels : Displays trade lines on the chart.

Show Monthly Stats : ( true ) Displays monthly statistics on the screen.

Show Portfolio Dashboard : ( true ) Enables a convenient info panel on the chart. Leave this enabled to monitor the system's performance easily.
Step 6. Rollover SL Protection
This unique feature protects your trades from spread widening during the nightly server rollover (when brokers significantly widen spreads, which can accidentally trigger your Stop Loss).

Enable Rollover SL Protection : Be sure to leave this as true (Enabled).

Time to REMOVE SL (server HHMM) : The time the Stop Loss is temporarily removed before the rollover (default is 2350 — 23:50 by terminal time).

Time to RESTORE SL (server HHMM) : The time the Stop Loss is restored after the spread stabilizes (default is 20 — 00:20 by terminal time).
(Do not change these parameters; they are already perfectly optimized for the safety of your deposit).
Step 7. Launch!
Make sure that the "Allow Algo Trading" checkbox is ticked in the Common tab of the settings window.
Click the OK button.
Finally, in the top panel of your MetaTrader terminal, click the "Algo Trading" button so that it turns green. A blue hat or a green icon in the top right corner of the chart will confirm that FX Adaptive has been successfully launched and is actively working!
