The main reason for the strengthening of the pound / dollar pair above the 1.3300 mark was the weakness of the US currency , not the strength of the British currency .
The dollar was down against the backdrop of falling volumes of durable goods orders, as well as thanks to soft statements by Janet Yellen about the recovery of inflation in the US .
In our forecast for today's trading, we expect further growth of the pound / dollar pair to resistance levels 1.3340 , 1.3360 and 1.3390 .
