Sycz Gold Breakout Master
The three gold breakout setups run together, with automatic lot sizing, trailing and separate news filters already included. You can use the Automated profile for a personal account or configure daily and total drawdown limits through the prop-firm profiles.
Start with the default settings. There is no separate set file to download, and you can follow the trades, account figures and combined performance from the dashboard.

Attach it to one chart and keep automated trading enabled. The terminal needs to stay connected for ongoing trade management.
Automatic lot sizing
With Automated selected, position sizes are calculated using the balance reference and your Sizing DD Target. Weighted position sizing is enabled by default. Fixed lots and risk-per-setup sizing are also available.
Lowering the DD target requests smaller positions. Raising it requests larger positions. The final size is subject to your broker’s minimum lot and volume increments, so a small adjustment will not always change the lot size.
The DD target is used for sizing. It does not close your trades when the account reaches that percentage. Daily and total loss limits are separate controls within the prop-firm profiles.
There is one default setting you should understand before starting: Lock Sizing To Highest Balance. When enabled, calculations can retain a previous higher balance after a loss. Lots will therefore not necessarily decrease as the current balance falls. The dedicated FTMO presets disable this option.
More capital can also result in larger lots under automated sizing. Choose the balance and risk settings together.
Trade management
Stop loss, take profit and trailing management are built in, including a high/low trailing option. Buy and sell trading can be enabled independently.
You also have a breakout-quality filter, maximum-spread setting, free-margin checks and pending-order expiration. These controls let you adjust the conditions under which new orders can be placed.
Friday controls are available if you want pending orders removed or active positions closed at a chosen cutoff. The Friday cutoff is disabled by default.
News protection
NFP has its own filter and can be enabled separately from the selected CPI, Core PCE and Federal Reserve news filter. Live calendar filtering uses the built-in Economic Calendar.
The protection windows are:

NFP: 100 minutes before the release and 60 minutes afterward.

Selected CPI and Core PCE releases: 45 minutes before and 45 minutes afterward.

Federal Reserve rate decision: 60 minutes before and 90 minutes afterward. The FOMC press conference is also covered.
During a protected window, new entries are paused and the system attempts to remove its pending orders. The NFP settings also include an option to close active positions.
If selected-news calendar data is unavailable or incomplete, new pending entries remain paused until the data can be read.
Prop-firm accounts
Alongside Automated, the available profiles are FTMO 2-Step Safe, FTMO 1-Step Safe and Prop Firm Custom Limits.
The custom profile lets you enter your daily and total drawdown limits, set the daily reset hour in UTC and add an optional challenge target. Match these settings to your firm’s current rules before starting.
When a configured threshold is reached, new entries are blocked and the protection attempts to cancel orders and close positions within the selected scope. A daily lock can clear on the next protection day. Total-limit and target locks remain saved until reset.
Check the protection scope if you also run another robot or place manual trades. The dedicated FTMO presets default to whole-account protection, so those other positions can be included in closing actions.
A preset name does not guarantee compliance with a firm’s rules. Execution conditions can also cause a loss limit to be exceeded.
Dashboard
The dashboard shows the selected profile, trading status, balance, equity, open P/L and closed net P/L.
Combined performance includes win rate, closed-trade count, wins, losses and breakeven outcomes. You can also see open positions, pending orders, total open volume and upcoming USD news.
Results are presented for the combined breakout engine.
Before going live
Use your broker’s gold data and include trading costs when evaluating the settings. Review the individual trades and drawdown alongside the overall results. Test again after changing the sizing model or protection profile.
Historical news handling differs from live operation. The selected CPI, Core PCE and FOMC calendar filter runs live and is not replayed in the Strategy Tester. Historical NFP protection uses the stored schedule and fallback logic.
There can be quiet periods when no valid setup is available or a filter prevents new entries. Losing trades, losing streaks and drawdown are possible under every profile. Keep monitoring the account after installation. Historical results do not guarantee future performance.
