Indicator to EA Builder turns indicator signals into an automated Expert Advisor without programming. Combine up to three sources, define the rule for each, and the EA handles entries, stops, targets and trade management.
Key features
- Up to three sources: built-in MA, RSI, MACD, Stochastic, Bands, CCI, ADX, or any custom .ex5 indicator in MQL5/Indicators that exposes numeric buffers.
- Custom inputs passed as a comma-separated list (numbers, true/false, quoted strings).
- Buffer scanner: pages through every buffer of each source and exports the last 50 bars to CSV (MQL5/Files/IndicatorBuilder).
- Rule types: Arrow (non-empty signal buffer), Cross (buffer A vs B), Level (crossing a value), Color (colour index), Trend (slope or price vs buffer).
- Roles Entry / Filter / Exit with AND/OR logic; closed-bar evaluation by default (shift 1).
- Market or pending entries; SL/TP in points, ATR, R-multiples or from a buffer.
- Risk-based or fixed sizing, position and daily entry caps, sessions, weekdays, spread limit, optional news filter.
- Break-even, trailing, partial close, close on opposite signal and time exit.
- Optional prop guard for daily and total drawdown.
- Ready presets: MA/price, RSI 50, MACD cross, Stochastic cross, CCI zero and a gold H4 example.
How it works
With default settings source 1 uses a built-in EMA 9/21 crossover so the EA can be tested immediately. Replace it with your indicator path (relative to MQL5/Indicators, without .ex5), run Scan to see which buffers carry signals, choose a rule and roles, then test in the Strategy Tester.

Important notes
- The scanner suggests the buffer type automatically; confirm it in the visual tester in a minute.
- Signals are taken from closed candles only (Shift 1), so the EA never enters on a signal that has not formed yet.
- The included presets are configuration examples, not recommended strategies. Historical tests do not predict future results; test any rule on a demo account first.
- If calendar or history data is unavailable, the EA shows this instead of assuming values.
